The 34 SMA should be traded ONLY on M5 and above, M15 and H1 are ideal. The Entry mechanism will be VERY objective. SL will be also extremely objective. As well as money management. I will put all that on 1 page. and you will love it. And it will be ideal for guys like you, who would like to Set and forget. and set and forget for most is a great strategy because we often mess up our trades because we are at our desk more than we should be.
Sounds great Immy. I like the idea of trading the higher time frames. Is there a new document on page 1 or is it the existing one?
not yet... but I will! after a week at least.. need more testing! Live Testing!
That will be great, only took a Break even on AU today, I realize to my observation that set and forget cheat pips out of you, Don't get me wrong I have a 50 Pips target per week, which i achieve on a consistence level, but I get jealous sometimes missing out on bonus pips, So I made a decision to sit through this and trade M1 and M5 using not only 34SMA which is good for set and forget but to use gator and V5 alert, , I want to experiment on this so I deposited $3000 on my odd dormant Live account for this test, The progress will be made know through myfxbook. Let the journey on this begin next week. Stay tune

hi EJ m5 0735, DA but no breakout upwards

About half an hour later there was another DA same direction but the candle ended outside the aims box

I took it anyway and about 12 pips, could have had double that for being patient, but there was an add on trade afterwards, so we'll see, it's breached a magic round number, 125, but whether that is of any significance being as this is a synthetic pair who knows?
I wish more people would come on here to share something on their journals

IF YOU CANT EXPLAIN IT SIMPLY YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND IT WELL ENOUGH (Einstein)

1% daily gain, compounded for 250 trading days, (approximately one year) would produce 1103% account growth

"Markets reflect the positioning of the sum total of investors โ€“ they are not driven by something an individual investor knows that the rest of us donโ€™t, but they do to an extent reflect what investors think other investors are thinking and so can diverge in the shorter term from the economic fundamentals."

I think EJ is streched a bit so perhaps a bit of sideways until NFP can be expected. If you wanted to let it run and go for the big ones, then now will not be the time. But there is one thing all of us do. We don't usually trade the pairs that move or if we trade one pair, we usually stop trading when the pair is moving. This is anti trading. We should be not trading when our pair is range bound and start trading when its out of range.
