Green above Red above Blue

Unread post by PaulF »

Hi!

Have a look at the screen shot I've attached. Now I've edited the indicators slightly to add some idiot proofing and one of them is a box that says "Alligator LONG" when Green is above Red above Blue, or "Alligator SHORT" when Green is below Red below Blue, or "Alligator SLEEPING" otherwise.

In this example, my little box says "Alligator LONG" because the end of the green line is above the end of the red line, which is above the end of the blue line. But if you were just looking at this example visually, would you agree??

hmmm...

I think the green has crossed over the red. Alligator is going to sleep. I can see AO has peaked and then the next peak is lower than the previous, since price did not create a new peak cannot be classed as divergence but it certainly shows loss of momentum.
