What is the Secret of Successful Trading?
The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.

Also on his great flowchart the very first box asks 'Is there a Dot?' Please forgive me in advance but does it mean 5 minute TF . ? or does it mean your chosen tf .
Thanks a lot

Re: Grants Technique
Sorry my fault. I have not uploaded updated template for his technique. It was not totally Grants template to be honest, because grant also has a few more lines to help with Target Points etc. But I shall consult him and upload a working template. ! cheersnumbat1 wrote:Hi I have downloaded Grants Template and it is an hourly candle chrt with no indies have I missed something?.

Ps: Grants Advanced M1 Trend Trading strategy is for trading M1, as I understand it.

Re: Grants Technique
Hi, I appreciate you answering my question originally regards your flowchart. I really thought I had it understood but seem to be confusing myself. Please correct me if I am wrong but we trade the 5 min chart and use the 1 min chart for our entries/exits.grant18265 wrote:Morning,

So if I am following your chart the first box "Is their a Dot' would that be on the 5 min tf ?.
Sorry for sounding thick :-s

Re: Grants Technique
there is no such thing as a dumb question, just a dumb person who doesnt ask.....
the dots are on the m1 TF....
So all the rules must be met on the m1.
hope this helps
