Dark grey and lighter colored AIMS boxes.
Hi Immy and all other members. I am wondering if someone can enlighten me on the Dark grey and lighter colored AIMS boxes. I have read the manual at least 10X and I know we trade when one of the dark grey boxes is penetrated providing the other rules/criteria have been met. But I also see lighter shaded boxes, and I'm wondering if these are a basis to take trades as well? I have attached an image to show an example. On the left third of the image a green candle penetrates the lighter shaded box, the trend is above the purple and the AO was fairly close to zero. Thanks for any input.

Hi Beate
The colour of the boxes do not affect AIMS levels.
It is really just a form of colour coding to make it visually
easy to see at a glance whether the Stop is within
your chosen parameters.
You can change the colours and the pip value, so you
can see if a valid box may be less than 15 pips or less than
50 pips or 100 pips depending on Time Frame you choose
when the size of the Box will be the secondary colour
If you wish, you can have all boxes the same colour - but
then you would have to manually check how big your Stop will
be every time. Colour coding the boxes simply automates this for you

Re: Dark grey and lighter colored AIMS boxes.
Thanks Mickey and Immy. I have spent several hours today trying to figure out how to change the colors of my AIMS boxes, but more importantly, I am interested in the settings for how to create the pip count boxes. i.e., I would love to be able to have a different colored AIMS box for a range of 15 pips or less. I truly tried to do this on my own but can not find the solution. Would you be so kind as to provide the information that will lead me to be able to do this. Thanks very much.

Mate, right click on your chart to bring up the first box Indicators, then highlight Aims Box 5.1 and click edit to bring up the second box
then DOUBLE click as highlighted to change pip value or colour as shown.
