Entry when M5 was sleeping. I was well aware of it. I wanted to see if my theory was right. I thought there was abc showing 1-2 up. so this could lead to something

Image

so then I saw this and asked the following questions

Image

and so I entered with Cautious Hands :hmm 8-|

Image

and then ofcourse as soon as entry is in, mind starts to play its tricks

NFP Day 8 Dec 2017

Unread post by immy »

Today I woke up to a PC update... Mistakenly I let it start updating it self as I forgot to restart it overnight.

So that messed up the morning. And that lead to missing some nice setups. One of them being this .

Image

My mindset was not right. I have noticed that on NFP day I'm reluctant to trade in the am. But m1 DAX has nothing to do with that. I have seen it move and not move without any pattern that we can follow. Its completely random when it moves or doesn't on the m1 char.t The only predictability it allows us to rely on is that it usually brings in considerably good amount of volatility at London open on most days.

So I will come back at it, every day, with a clear mindset. I will trade it if the setup is there. simple.

While posting hte above, i was in the process of missing the setup to the right of the pic above.

I'm so disappointed with myself. :no :sigh

The Afternoon Sesssion of DAX and NFP

Unread post by immy »

Well NFP was a FLat one. Nothing moved. I made 4 pips on UJ and 5 on EU considering the overal risk taken, 6R this is a BE result.

Later there was no good setup on DAX until now.

Took a PC cherry short

Image

It wsa not moving... no real movement this afternoon anyway. So gonna call it a day...

Wishing you all a Great Weekend.

Personally I'm gonna spend some mirror time. My Recent T20's on M1 have been just around 70DS and that's not acceptable.

NFP days are many times fantastic trading days. At least couple hours from London open. After that I would not trade until NFP release. Great picture there. I interpreted exactly like you did and traded W3. Retrace was deep and retraced to M15 alligator green and I started to think it might have been waves 1-2. There was good looking S1's later but I skipped those as market was already hitting targets already. Anyway, great day in its own way.

Hi Tomi,

Thank you for your reply and kind words. I too skipped/missed the s1 due to all those TZ1 getting hit and then refreshing. plus this impending "doubt" in my mind that its NFP day, it might not move, sort of messed with me. On top of that I had pc issues.

Lets see if the next week brings 10R profits lol have a good weekend brah

Merry Saw a Great Setup 1 [Jozef says its not good]

Unread post by immy »

We had one of the best session in the skype group today, At least in my view.

WE learned about B trap, peaking AO and how to see where is this signal within Wave on CTF and HTF.

I will do the story of this morning session in my blog but here I'd like to copy Jozef's response to a Setup 1 that looked near perfect on m1, but using the information on M5 jozef filtered it.

here is hat setup 1 long. With a lovely wave formation ... (notice this dark dotted line? it was once on our charts and we used to call it the black magic line. Basically its an emulation of purple of m5. Here I added it for educational purposes. As I don't use it on my chart)

Image

Jozef's reply to Merry's Question

Image

And so on M5 I saw the following

Image

and then ofcourse it went down to do a C wave. followed by a J Setup Seed signal.
Which again Jozef filtered by saying, Its not in his trading plan. :wd

Image

Is it Seed on M5? A good Question ... but a better one would be "Is it a Valid Hunt Seed on M5?"
