I am getting along well with AiMs (delighted) and look forward to the imminent release of V5
.I, like most people don't sit with just charts in front of me and was wondering if it
would be possible to add simple Audible and Email alerts (like you have for dots) when all the 3
basic rules and criteria are met, which would help to alert of Setup 1 (esp.) forming...
1. Alligator asleep (consolidating MAs)
2. Blue dot ABOVE purple line and Red dot BELOW (i.e: Entry signals only).
3. AO close to zero or crossing.
I envisage the alert should ONLY happen on the 3 events or you would have alerts all over the place! lol!
As a programmer myself (in Delphi mainly, with some C++ and C#), I have done a very little amount
of work with MQL having added Email and WAV alerts for crossover of indicators: Stochastic, MAs and MACD.
Of course, it is your copyright but with the AiMs MQ4 I could 'probably' add code for EMail and WAV
playing myself (which in itself is very simple). Its just the flagging of the criteria for the Setups which I dont have.
I would appreciate your thoughts on this potential, as im sure it would help many people and be an amazing addition
