HEre we go. Took a little piece ... 

I was hesitant but in the end made me TAKE this trade since it was a signal... and the result was not bad. the problem however was that I was going for US100 and by mistake took US30. US100 hit 2R even 3R... US30 got me 1R. 

Oh well... we got something out of this FOMC ... can't complain

You DON'T need H1, you don't need M5... just focus on M1 (assuming you know how ot identify a low volatility period, and that you know what is an impulse move .i.e market cycle) @Emma.a

You can see the break out below on the hourly EUR/USD chart.  I am going short on the seed at 1.1689.  Following the rules of looking for 2R.  There was a big breakout down, followed by a doji and then a seed.

Thanks for the post. I can see the logic there. The impulse move followed by doji and seed. These things, I call the WALTZ setup... they work over the longer term. On all tiem frames... specially when the breakout candle is closing outside of a trading range.

Ended up a losing trade but my mindset has totally changed thanks to you.  I am looking for consistency and I know over time the results will be good. On to the next!
