Re: The Discretionary Pullback Entry - 2 Legged Pullback

Would you have entered on candle 2, or is that candle not 'bullish' enough?

Hi Darren
good question though I don't take trades on a single candle pullback.

A pullback must have at least one new low , which 2 has. But I would either look for one more pullback or a seed or a two legged pullback. This is the example of tight 2 legged pullback.
I will post some examples of two legged pullback that consists of more candles.

Coding this is proving to be difficult hence discretion is required.

Hope this makes sense.

Cheers.

A Very Simple Way to Filter 90% of Signals

Unread post by immy »

Are you looking for a way to make your trading signals, more and more objective?

Yes, you are and we all should be. I know I am.

This simple trick does the job pretty nicely.

1. When the 10 EMA is pointing down and 20 is flat. and
2. You see strong trend candles in the opposite direction closed inside the region of 10/20.

More on this on the chart. The best way to explain is a CHART!
