Just got back from Gym. And I see a 2 banana as well. Same thoughts

Back in the days when training, I would FORCE myself to take setups as long as rules aligned. But over the years I have learned to trust my intuition. So I have two mechanisms. One, the objectivity of the Set-up. The next is, how do I feel about the Setup. If I'm not excited about it, I will NOT trade it or I will trade it with lower lots.

There is an Up trend developing on the D1 chart. I appears that price retested the Seed, as it does. Not just the seed but the previous swing highs. confirmation that the bulls might be still in charge.

I still stand with my decision that the impulse was way to climactic and I filter the Banana #2 and the seed after that too.
And thank you Immy  for explaining the extra info, that adds to the good feeling I have to ignore these signals.

There are two ways one can look for signals. The First way is to look for impulse wave, wait for pullback, then wait for signal.

The Second way, is to wait for a signal then run through th rules. This might help those people who like to process this way.

Start with Is there a Signal.

Immy, is this above flow chart correct? It looks not right to my eyes. My thoughts:

Step 3 - Is the pullback impulsive: if NO do nothing.
That should be: If YES do nothing. you want to look further if it's not too impulsive.

Step 5 - Is the impulse climactic: if YES take the trade.
That should be : If YES do nothing. You want to trade if it's not climactic.

Hi

I suggest that you DO NOT trust your FEELINGS unless and until you have around 500 Banana Trades under your belt. I have around 5000 , maybe alot more.

Intuition needs 5000 hrs to develop. 5000hrs (rough guide) of disciplined training and application of the method , no matter what field.

Oopsie, Thanks for pointing that out. I will correct it. I was trying to make the process smoother. Forgot to change the Questions.

That's a good point. Feelings are not objective.
I'll put a Limit Sell on the 2nd seed, let's see what happens.

Limit Sell pending order on the seed.
Ignore feelings, they are not objective.
