No, I did not take the EU. I want to see a trade that is running and in profit. That's done, my job done. I'm not miro running 17 trades lol  :silly

I fell like I should have taken it but I'm just focusing on letting the UJ trade become a big winner.

These were both looking good.
Still waiting for USD-JPY to produce a signal after clearing the level to the left.
If this happens and at least one of the other JPY trades have finalised, I might take the USD-JPY too.

The USD-Cad ended BE because SL got hit

I skipped that one. did not look cute enough. Does now  :daydream

I did that deliberately, and I thought about it. I know it's not in my trading plan.
USD-JPY was not ready, as I wanted the level broken, and getting a banana signal after that. In hindsight, I should not have waited, looking at Immy's trade is making lots of R's.
GBPJPY was looking good, levels cleared and a signal, But it was not like there wasn't anything to the left.
So I wanted another currency that was strong vs the JPY, and that's why I looked at CHF, this one is in uncharted territory., nothing to the left. That one looked a good setup too.
So I decided to spread risk and do half risk on both.

BEST to stay away from CHF... the SNB intervention is imminent and can shake the world like it did back in 2015 (my broker Alpari went bankrupt)

Stop Loss moved up on USDJPY to lock in 3R.

GBPUSD and EURUSD Limit Sell Orders (Missed)

Unread post by immy »

When D1 is a pullback, I like to see that the entry is triggered and when it does I like to get into this move on the H1.

Today was the opportunity but I did not find my focus today. I should have put a PO limit to sell for the seed. Missed an Easy 5R which could be many more multiple R's in the days ahead.

ps: I was a tad concerned about the GBP CPI News. (Consumer Price Index, in other words, Inflation)

Here is a thought...

The more pairs you watch, the more trades you will miss and feel awful.

When you reduce pairs to 4, you will not be overwhelmed with signals and instead, you will hardly miss signals.  :alien

ps: did these signals appear during the times you're available to trade? If not, don't agonise over it. It's not your signals.

ATM looks weird on DAX

Unread post by Minsk »

Hi all,

My ATM looks really weird on DAX, compared to what it looks like on n FX pair.
Is this normal?
ANd when I click on the M button of the ATM, this window does not dissappear.
ANyone recognise this problem?

I put in an order via the MT4 order button. That worked, although the terminal/trade tab at the bottom freezes at a price and you don't see any change in PnL. Closing the trade with the x gave a complete different PnL in Trade history than I have seen in Terminal/Trade tab.
Some things are not OK in this platform.
I suspect it being a broker problem now.

Simplify the matter. Forget DAX. it behaves way too different to Forex. EU GU UJ Enough.... Trust me when I say that....

ps: when I suggested DAX I was not 100% sure but thought let's see what happens.
