The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".

I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.

Are you planning to convert this into some sort of test or assessment  or a game and that give different qualifications/titles to AIMS traders like Karate Belts (Black, Yellow, White, Blue). Each one comes with certain competencies.

Would be also helpful when trades is out of zone or form, he/she can go through exercises or test to re-qualify or regain their mojo.

haha

the point is that this very pattern is the ZOOMED Setup 1.

This pattern has a TRADING EDGE. This is all I look for.

I constantly look for what we used to call the SADDLE point. the sleeping gator. The TIght box, the Setup 0 situation. then I wait for This pattern to POP out of that are.

This pattern can appear near the top of an exhausting move as well, or bottom, this can appear on a second day as well.

What this is, is what we used to call the ONE TWO...

Trading this pattern, will almost always GET you into that WAVE 3.  :ar!

This happened on NASDAQ yesterday...

Look how it formed the "illusive" second day play, but we must always remember, that the 2nd day play is NOT yet confirmed, until the breakout of the overnight trading range. In this case, I paid the rent, you paid the rent on the way down, but it Broke out , with THIS pattern, to the up side.

 So easy now...

Literally Wait for TIGHT Range, Wait for this pattern, and BOOM

5 = 4x trend, pulback, pullback, pause/doji

T= Trend Candle
P= Pullback (or pause same thing)
R=Range Candle (one with wicks) no such thing as reversal or rather, every PULLBACK is a reversal.

1. TTP
2. TTPP
3. TTP
4. TTTPPP
5. TTTPPP

The candle before the first T is ignored and not counted in the count since it was NOT T.

ps:

So we want to see this TTP or TTPP or TTTP or TTTPP or Sometimes even TP, but we don't want to see it at the END of the day, or we don't want to see a TTP that is so big that it has covered the entire day's range. there is nothing left. and we don't want TTTTPPPP if its 200 points up and 150 points down and the ADR of that market is 150 lol

****** HOLIDAY PERIOD *******

Unread post by immy »

I am off until September.

I will be taking my last trades on  this Thursday after that I'm off. I will check charts sometimes, but not periodically, not as I do once per hour all day.

If I feel like it, I will check it, if not, I won't.

Meanwhile,
  I'll enjoy my time with my kids and family and travel a bit.

Hope you all have a good August / Holiday period too. (if there is one) (I know emma already is on holiday)

:wave
