I have become so proficient with AIMS that i do not need this "Rolls Royce"........ :D (I can see all my understanding of AIMS encapsulated in it).
I am so thankfull for being introduced to AIMS. All involved to formulate/finalise it - you have made Forex Trading a better world and continue to build better worlds...

The work that has gone into the standard AIMS indicators is off such value and quality (with excellent support), I have no choice but to support Steve's work.
(It's a steal, a bargain, it's like ignoring a perfect setup)
As a Premium member I therefore am purchasing this Indicator at full price. I like to stay in touch with Winners and Achievers.

Looking forward to a lifetime of success, freedom from stress, friendship, affluence and goodwill that trancend this universe.

Wow! Thanks very much Herbert. What a nice post - such words, alone, make everything so worthwhile. :-bd

In the attached chart I see a 3 in the green above the ZL, then I see an other 3 below the ZL and directly above this 3 I see a 4 followed by a 5 above the ZL.
Can you please show on the above chart where the waves start and finish.

Thanks in advance. John
Hi John

the 3, 4 & 5 numbers above the ZL are the waves in the up-move of price (even though the 4th wave goes below the ZL, we show the number above the ZL as it's in the up-move). The 3 below the zero line is, theoretically, a Wave 3 of a down-move - which, in this instance, coincides with 4th wave in the up-move. This particular Wave 3 below the ZL can be ignored - price was above Purple Line and clearly moving up.

The waves start and end at the extreme points of both price and histogram. There is an option, in the indicator, to display the corresponding wave numbers on the price chart, which might make things clearer for you.

Hope that helps but, if not, please have a read of Immy's (most excellent) 10second Elliot Wave ebook for more info.

cheers
Steve

Subsequent edit - here's a screen shot of a great example of how the eWave indicator shows the counts on price and histogram, for up and down moves, as well as the Fibonacci Time Zone - all automatically drawn. I took this trade and have a picture of it on my desk (yeah, I'm a bit strange like that - normal people would have a pic of their wife).

John

A note for everyone I must repeat. You must understand how to read AIMS Waves (AO) Indicator to be able to count waves. This indicator will then show you those spots without too much headache and in case you forget to have the wave analysis it will always be there to remind you. We want to make our trading decision in "the Now" moments. To define the "now" moment in the market we would look at what the indicators and price together are telling us using the last few bars on the chart. That I call the mechanical beginner and advanced beginner stage. Where you focus on one thing at a time. e.g we ask questions such as What is the alligator telling us, is the AO (AIMS WAve or eWave) orange or red or green, is there a dot etc etc. For all those questions you analyse 1-5 or some times up 15 candles.

To go beyond that stage and enter the zone of competent traders. Competent traders are those traders who know how to increase ROI and are consistently profitable even if its very minor average wins such as even as low as 1% a month but with consistent results. At this stage you then start analysing up to 140 bars/candles on your chart. This analysis helps you to take Entry, Add-on and Exit and Profit Taking decisions.

This is where the knowledge of the 10 second to Elliott wave book kicks in. Because one of the ground rules of counting waves using eWave or AIMS wave or AO is to look up minimum or 100 and max of 140 candles. This is where your belief system changes what Bill William calls the "Trance-ending" experience. You have a quantum leap and you become in tune with the market (i.e. your internal structure of your mind and that of the universe (the market) become in sync or in-tune). Your account graph starts showing impulse waves only when the market also starts making impulse waves up or down and your account stops making an impulse wave up when the market stops making impulse waves up or down.

I hope the above helps in some way and I hope it makes sense.

cheers

No worries about the pic Herbert :)

I'm not sure why you're having grief with PayPal - it seems ok when I test it. Can you send me an email (you have my address on the pic that you posted :D )

This is absolutely fantastic. I bought and have been using the beta version. By applying it on several time frames of the same pair you can see waves within waves so clearly. It is a fantastic tool.
Great stuff Steve.

Thanks Immy,
you're explanations above are very thorough and amazing but well above the capabilities of the average trader like me. How can the Ewave software print wave numbers in advance when the peak of either Price or Ao has not yet happened, and when it does peak isnt it too late??
thanks
