question about settings on pairs
Is It a must to change the aims settings If you trade a pair other than the eur/usd and If so how /where do we find the other settings. Or will aims work well with any currency pair the way it sits. I also have another question I am In a trade right now with the eur/usd. It Is a sell I entered with open alligator on 5m and below line also 1m below line and red dot to sell. Since entering trade I have no blue dot but alligator keeps opening his mouth and closing It on m1 and m5 and I am above and below the zl line a number of times.I have Had green dots telling me to buy which have no other confirmation signs so I have not left trade. I guess my question Is how do I know when the alligator Is going to stay open and keep going. I apologize for this stupid question but stupid or not I do not know the answer.

Hi Jim
re your first question - the yen pairs like different settings for the orange part (CloseToZL) of the AIMS Waves and Entry Alerts. You'll find a few discussions in the forum on this, e.g. http://www.itradeaims.net/forum/viewtop ... f=50&t=695" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. You don't need to change settings for any of the Major XXXUSD pairs. If you're just starting out, I'd suggest you stick to EURUSD though.
How do you know if the Alligator is going to stay open and keep going? The Alligator, like all indicators, is derived from preceding price action. To know if it will stay open would require the ability to see where price will be in the future, to a minimum of +13 bars. So, for the daily chart, you'd need to be able to see what price will be in 13 days. This is currently beyond the capability of any of the indicators but I'll see if I can rectify that in due course (after which I'll probably retire).
cheers
Steve
