There isnt a concrete reason i can give you for having less yellow bars on my AO.....

the best i can do is say that once it changes from yellow to either blue or red then if my PO hasnt triggered within 3/4 bars of the colour change then the AO is likely to be too old and the PO should be deleted....

It's a personal preference thing.
Grant and Immy prefer slightly different settings and I prefer others still.
The principles are the same however and I would suggest trading the system simply from the ebook and then worry about tweaking settings much later once you're clear and relatively consistent.
