AIMS Entry Alert V6.0 Beta [Obsolete]

Unread post by snorm »

Hi All

Here's the latest Entry Alert for Beta testing.

New additions:-
Arrow shows an entry where Alligator, on current time frame, was recently sleeping (within last 20 bars is the default option, but that can be changed in the settings) and Alligator on the next time frame is awake - essentially a Setup 1.
Blue/Red smiley: as above but the Alligator on the next time frame was recently asleep.
Gold smiley: as above but the Alligator on the higher next time frame is awake e.g. if on M1 the higher next time frame would be M15 (by default)

I'll do a full explanation of all the options in due course.

In an attempt to stop free distribution and pirating (as still happens, unfortunately), I've password-protected this indicator - a new password will be given each month. Password for June is 4783, which I've set to default in the options for you.

I hope you like the new additions. Please post any feedback and clever questions in this forum section only.

All the pips to you
Steve :-B

Edit: Previously I added my Double Arrow Template here but there is no need for that since we have AIMS S1 Alert which gives you Double Arrows whenever there is Setup one on your current time frame and 2 higher time frames alligators are open. Steve, thank you so much for all of your hard work. It is truly disappointing that someone from this forum is free distributing your work to others without proper permission, compensation, or gratefulness. I personally appreciate it!

this looks nice. although i don't fully understand the usage of the smile face other then the obvious "here it was sleeping".. looks to be working though. I'll test it out tomorrow probably.

can i add one thing? wouldn't it be nice if these smile faces appear only if a AIMS box was created also? so that a filter possible "show only in aims box" is possible in the indi. this way one could set it up to show smile face if a proper setup is there, or at least help the user to see them. idea :)

good work! :)

Thanks Takin - I suspect it's more a case of ex-members doing the dirty, rather than current members. For all the truly great people here in the forum, there will always be the odd-ball.

It's all about looking for a proper Setup 1, Alexander (though, due to the lookback, you sometimes get a Setup2 instead/as well). The AIMS Box simply gives you PO level to use after the signal is given, along with initial stop loss level. I don't think I understand your request

Thanks Steve. I just cannot put my finger on it, but it seems whenever you release, my trading improves.... B-) :D

NOTE: I recently was doing backtesting with my templates on visual. All 8 desktop processors could not haul the candles at any decent speed.
Just before resigning from backtesting, i decided to remove all non-Snorm indicators and run the backtest again. There-after, even my mouse could handle the processing power required to run backtesting at full visual speed.

Looks like your blitzy mastering of mql was not just a quick study. Good coding!! :-bd

All looking good. ~o)

Thanks, as aways, Herbert :D

Alas, I know I still have some work to do to ease-up the processor burden for both the Alert and eWaves. I am working on an Alert re-write in the background. Glad to hear you've seen an improvement since de-bejazziling though :-bd

With regard to illegal copies of indicators and AIMS materials one thing is for certain. The mind has a mechanism where it always performs optimal when an individual's activities are ethical.

Once you expose your self to this phenomena by being part of distributing or using these indicators illegally, you are condemning yourself to a lesser self and lesser ability to trade.

Just go through the various trading forums and areas, the evidence is everywhere. The simplest and/or most effective systems available, traders still have no ability to use it, never mind mastering it. Hundreds upon thousands of dollar's worth of indicators, strategies etc, made available this way, yet none seem to benefit from it as traders who buy and subscribe into a methodology like AIMS as legitimate users.

Ethics is not just some fancy labeling concept with a cheap street value. Ethics involve reason = truth, knowledge of... the staple ingredient for an effective mind.

AIMS is fundamentally based on the structure of the market. AIMS principles are the truth of the market.
And that is where the disconnect comes for the fake user. To attempt applying their trading and thinking by using truth market principles in a non-truth mindset. It then only persists their failure to be a successful trader.

What big disservice these squirrels are doing to themselves and others. The win/loss ratio is immense. Few dollars not paid to loose in trading for life.
Just my viewpoint. ;)
