Re: WHAT'S NEW in AIMS V5 ?
Immy, thanks very kindly for sharing this wisdom. This Law of Attraction may have seemed obvious to others but I can definitely see how I haven't been aware of it generally in life and consequently, why I unnecessarily repeated mistakes. I'll do my best to implement this way of looking at mistakes

Re: WHAT'S NEW in AIMS V5 ?
Hi
Can you clear up in more detail the purpose of the new lighter coloured dots, (pink/light green)?
Your info at the top states we should wait for a new AiMS level as the candle
with the dot has pierced a high or low - at least thats my understanding.
So, are these tradable dots or not, i.e is the position descretionary/ inadvisable?
Jeff - Sunny England (yeh, sure!)

Re: WHAT'S NEW in AIMS V5 ?
Hi Jeff
The changes to the indicators actually reflect The Three Rule Setup Flowchart in a visual and audible format. Perhaps another look at The Three Rule Flowchart might help understand the purpose of the coloured dots. It states, Is the dot candle completely inside aims? which means if it has broken and aims level then you must wait for a fresh aims level form and then check if the setup is still right and only then consider taking the trade.
These dots are tradable but the procedure for trading green/pink dots is slightly different.
cheers
Immy
ps: at times dots might pierce but close inside aims level, those could be taken above/below the dot candle but I rarely do that.

Re: WHAT'S NEW in AIMS V5 ?
Hi Immy & Steve,
Thank you for the new indicators. A quick question, i have notice on the new Aims V5 that im not getting the dot to exit my trades. Has that been changed or is it a problem with my set up?
Any advice would be great.
Thanks
Rod

Re: WHAT'S NEW in AIMS V5 ?
HI Rod,
no worries, do the following
right click chart
click on indicators
double click on alert indy
3rd line down (filter purple) double click true and you should see a drop down of true or false.
set to false
click ok
close indicator window
hopefully you'll see the opposite dots...
cheers

Re: WHAT'S NEW in AIMS V5 ?
Hi I've seen this a couple of times, not sure what causes it but suggest you change time frame to m5 for a few seconds then back to M1 I find this cures that problem
Cheers
Mike

Re: WHAT'S NEW in AIMS V5 ?
Coopps. That is a general problem with MT4. nothing to do specifically with V5.
As Mike said. Switch TF's.
U probably applied these indi's on a different timeframe.
Switch TF's and back till u see it is right, then save it for that TF as template.
I see it all the time with many different indi's.
Regards
Herbert
