There are two ways one can look for signals. The First way is to look for impulse wave, wait for pullback, then wait for signal.
The Second way, is to wait for a signal then run through th rules. This might help those people who like to process this way.

Are You Constantly Flicking Your Charts Looking for Signals?
If Yes, then you probably doing it wrong.
We don't want to be looking for a signal every candle (hour , min or day).
To make it more comfortable and easier on your mind, here is how I do it.
There are 2 Setups I look for. Everything STARTS with a Tight Trading Range.
So Look and WAIT for Tight Trading Ranges... and then
Wait for a Breakout....
Then wait for pullback
Then wait for Signal .... Sounds simple right?
It is!
