We got rid of extra lines, and discovered that 34sma can do the job of all. And what's happened is that most of us added one more line! if you have gator and AO you don't need 34. if you have 34, you don't need gator or even ao. but then you have to be good at S/R and Prince Action.

(Ray: its not directed at you in specific... I saw quite a few of our friends did that. haha (hug) )
moreove, please don't trade 34 on m1. trade it on m5 or m15 if you want to trade. make entries on Pin bar, BDC, and IB's away from 34. if you like to trade with 5x trend then you'll have less trades, but good ones, add 170SMA.

A tight box and AO clsoe to ZL or not?
This is the questionable situation for me.
I don't have problems with the tightness of the box, but I don't like the open gator to the upside at dottime. I have seen so many many of them producing just a small wb and then starting wc, or producing only w1 of 5 with a stronger w2 retracement, that I would class it : No setup !!
But this exactly is the point !

Have just seen, that for the first two dots AO was not close to ZL on my charts. Third dot looks better, this would be a setup for me

I wanted to point to the fact, that Dot's are a mechanism to alert us slightly prior to a setup. The original AIMS Entry Alert V1 was based on First bar of AO, but we missed a few good setups and we found that if we had something slightly earlier than the cross of AO that would be better. So since we knew that the blue balance line and 34 sma of AO are similar things if we base our entry on 3x lower time fame ao, i.e. cross of AO of 3x or 5x lowre time frame, we may get alerted earlier. IT turns out that when we did that, the dots used to come exactly at the spots where price crossed green line, that was V2.1 alert. So in V5.1 alert we simply based the alerts on cross and close of Green line. So when you get an alert, you get read and see if the gator sleeps properly. so on m1, i already put a PO and keep it until the situation is right. if it goes the other way, i have nothing to lose, if it suddenly breaks out I don't miss it. but on 5, one does not have to be worried about such things!

If the risk on M5 boxes is less than 15 pips on any pair, you don't want to go to m1 and trade it. Because your risk on M5 is low and potential of profit compared to risk is high.

Currently I still wouldnt trade inside the aims box as I dont have enough experience on BDC etc. I remember someone saying they could operate without the Alligator, without AO but not without Aims levels.
I wish more people would come on here to share something on their journals
