Do you put a TP target on your trades, or do you just let them run and manually close at some point?

I put a target on, 2 or 3 depending on if it is early in the trade.

News moves the market. Some news are unplanned.

Karoda said something, Yens moved.

I am not trading the 5 minute charts for a while. But I do like to watch and keep a record of the setups I see. It's also a type of training. 

I was watching but the big single candle kept me on the sidelines. I thought it was too climactic. 

But more importantly I'm not trading the 5 minute for a while, so perhaps that's what really is the matter. So I will not know why I decided not to take it because I was not going to actually trade it. 

Hmmm... 

Levels to the left... and Climactic ... only a minor news moved this... could take if you're really excited about it. To me its Rule #2 taht says "stop here".

Thank you for the Seed Flow chart!

The flow charts help me keep me on track. It's a way to stay objective, just answer the Q's and there you go. 
I know I would otherwise be tempted way more to lose discipline.
