The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.

Something like these..?immy wrote:I see a funny thing happening!
We got rid of extra lines, and discovered that 34sma can do the job of all. And what's happened is that most of us added one more line! if you have gator and AO you don't need 34. if you have 34, you don't need gator or even ao. but then you have to be good at S/R and Prince Action.
(Ray: its not directed at you in specific... I saw quite a few of our friends did that. haha (hug) )
Immy, You mean to trade 34SMA I don't need AO on my chart

Re: Trading CHAT
Whilst trading towards purple is not good in m1 timeframes as it puts you at risk of getting wrong side of a wave 4, is there any current thinking as to whether it is not recommendable in higher timeframes eg m5 and above?
I just noticed there was a tentative breakout in m5 - EJ towards purple (direction of going long) after 1615 (gator not sleeping), after new DA, and 1640 today (gator snoozing), with cross up on AO, but it looks capable of turning back south, and 1650 it looks like falling out the bottom of the aims box, new DA (red) just painted.
Update 1720GMT it has gone up again, and pierced top of aims box. This ranging is 'orrid ! ! ! ! !
Anyway Immy sees a Doji on D1 and thinks something big (a push down) is possible

I wish more people would come on here to share something on their journals
IF YOU CANT EXPLAIN IT SIMPLY YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND IT WELL ENOUGH (Einstein)
1% daily gain, compounded for 250 trading days, (approximately one year) would produce 1103% account growth
"Markets reflect the positioning of the sum total of investors – they are not driven by something an individual investor knows that the rest of us don’t, but they do to an extent reflect what investors think other investors are thinking and so can diverge in the shorter term from the economic fundamentals."
