Short Seed (Not the best looking though)

Made a Rookie mistake today.

I filtered a siganl based on Wave 3 swing high. 

What a stupid thing to do specially after I spend good hr telling sam off about this when he filtered the GJ trade based on this. This is stupid.

Thank you for explaining this, as it was what I did. But I did not realise it was a wave 3 swing high. I take note of this and I hope I will see it next time.

A Swing high/Low which has not been tested yet is only a POTENTIAL support or resistance. 

In this case the level in question was only a swing high. and price was already above it. It was NOT a filter we need to use. 

However, I do find it hard to get into to trends without that beautiful 2-3 momentum candles. That is why I did not take it. 

Rightly so we should have (and I had) a po long after the Seed was broken, but it did trigger on this occasion. If I don't see momentum breakout (the 2 3 or 4 trend candles) then I like to see TREND and then limit orders

ps; A Trading Range is defined by at least 2 EQUAL swing highs and 2 equal Swing Lows.

Again USD-CHF, I put a PO on the seed.
This is the 2nd pullback, so I thought, let's try for another round.
 
 

Hi Immy
I was watching this one, this morning the 3 doji had just formed. I have been working through the course, and I didn't take this as I thougth after watching the videos it was best to wait till the levels to the left had been passed. Also being at the open of Asian markets, it doesn't trend like the other 2 opens. Tonight looking at it, it would have been a good one to take!
My question is, the first 1 signal, would have filled but then taken you out at -1R. Is a 2 or 3 a better signal than the 1's? also because it had gone back up to hit the MA would this give it more possibility?
I have taken a few 1's now resulting in -1R's so I am just wondering. I have got the last few lessons to still do on the banana course.

G/U, no I didn't take it. Not a signal, I did have a line at the top for S/R here to watch for signal after it.

It was expected hence quarter risk. Rent on USD/Jpy
