28/6/19

Batch 2

Trade 5

Gbp/Chf M15 S1
Set up 1 on M15 called out, PO set. Filled, sideways for most of the night that I saw. Over night got to BE and ended at BE.

End result was BE

R result to date for this batch: -.67R

DS score for batch: 4/5

Overall total R score: (all batches) +13.8R

My Feelings and Analysis at the time of entry and afterwards: - First trade on shorter time frame. Took awhile to unfold. Happy with BE.

What could I have done different:  This one was a little hard to manage due to our time frame. After this stopped out at BE, black diamond was trigger candle for change of direction. Waltz to go long starts.

Batch 2

Trade 6

US2000 M15 S1

S1 on M15 spotted, PO set. Filled, couple of small candles then on NY open it flew. I have 2 positions as the first was very small in size, so took a second to equal my risk.

End result was +2R

R result to date for this batch: +1.33R

DS score for batch: 5/6

Overall total R score: (all batches) +15.13R

My Feelings and Analysis at the time of entry and afterwards: - Watched at NY open, S1 taken. Good set up, good ending.

What could I have done different:  Happy with this trade.

Batch 2

Trade 2

Aud/Nzd D1
Good small seed signal. Took off well, just short of BE before it bounced

End result was -1R

R result to date for this batch: -1R

DS score for batch: 1/2

Overall total R score: (all batches) +13.5R

My Feelings and Analysis at the time of entry and afterwards: - Seed formed. On reviewing I am thinking the trigger candle could have been stronger. H1 was a good Set up it dropped out of sideways, on H1 would have got to BE and possible 1.5R. Earlier entry on D1 would still not have got to BE for me.

What could I have done different:  Immy would the long wicks to the bottom all at a similar level have been an indication to leave it and see what happened next?

Well.
Let me share the snap of the Daily scan for that day.

AUD/NZD was not mentioned for a reason. (ps: i think you should zoom in on your charts. you don't need all that information ... all you need for WALTZ is 10 candles. but that's my opinion)

Where is the TB?

hope it makes sense

So You're Trading D1, H1 and M15?  :o  Its gonna be very difficult to establish which method is doing well. Discipline is something of a mystry for us normal traders. We just can't stick to one thing.  :silly

the job is easy. you don't look for Waltz until you see a TB. and TB happens on day 1. the next day you only see if there are 1. new TB's keep them under watch and 2. See if YD's TB has produced a doji or Seed after it. If yes, you take the trade.

Thanks Immy, I see what you mean about the wick and candle body. I shall watch for this.
I thought that with D1 you can then spot other set ups on other times, I took M15 when I heard you call it out.
Sorry, shall focus on the D1.

Batch 2

Trade 7
NAS100 D1

I saw the trigger short and seed placed PO didn't fill that day, Deleted PO. The the next day the new seed printed and the trend had changed to long. Big jump overnight out at TP

End result was +2R

R result to date for this batch: +3.33R

DS score for batch: 5/7

Overall total R score: (all batches) +17.13R

My Feelings and Analysis at the time of entry and afterwards: - The direction of this trade confused me to start, I thought at one point I was going to be out at SL, but it then came back, jumped overnight on Asian open and out at TP.

What could I have done different: Not sure at this point I am confident with reading the exact place the trend changes direction.

You see, You gotta create trading plan. and do as you've agreed to do. You can't take trades here and there on the spur. Is it part of your trading plan to take M15 trades?

and what you did on Nasdaq is classed as descritionary trading. You read the market you acted on that analysis. its a DSO but its a great READ.

Batch 2

Trade 8
Nzd/Cad D1Waltz

Seed taken started ok, but missed BE, out at SL

End result was -1R

R result to date for this batch: +2.33R

DS score for batch: 5/8 (adjusted due to NAS100)

Overall total R score: (all batches) +16.13R

My Feelings and Analysis at the time of entry and afterwards: - Waltz taken, trend didn't continue long enough for me to get to BE. Next .....

What could I have done different? H1 showed it was in W3 only, waited for wave to get back to zero line.
