The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".

I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.

In about 40 minutes there will be red news about germany manufacturing. That might move things.

I stay at H1 otherwise I will get tempted to try all sort of things on other timeframes that I should not do. At least not now.
But it shows there are always possibilities.

yes, best to stick to a trading time frame of your choice. Multiple time frames is a nightmare. Vicky does h4. We do h1. I like h4 alot. When I'm busy I'll be doing h4. It is not very hard to do. Check 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm. And still plenty of signals.

One can monitor 10-20 even 30 charts on h4. Choose the ones that are moving and risk appropriately.

The H4 trades don't need a 3R target. You can let them run and catch huge winners. There is no rush so one can make decision with peace of mind.

10-20 and30R trades are possible on H4.

but 1:3 or 1:5 targets are the BEST way forward. Peace of mind.

That news didn't shake any trees, or was it priced in already just before the news came out?

My response to news events is this. If it moves, we trade if not, then the market did not care. Who cares... we only trade our setups. And i'm on h1, i don't give a shit ... other than FOMC and NFP.
