Re: Elliott Wave Indicator - Elliott Wave in 1 Second
I have the situation with ewaves where no fib lines show in the TF of M5 at the moment whereas they are showing for other TFs eg M1, M15, M30
Is this something that will change with developing price action or is something not right?

I expect it will change with developing price action, Ray. How many pairs have you tested it on?wiseambitions wrote:I have the situation with ewaves where no fib lines show in the TF of M5 at the moment whereas they are showing for other TFs eg M1, M15, M30

Here's something funny:
EURUSD fib projections works on m1 and m15 not m5 (although wave shows)
USDCHF ditto
AUDUSD works on m5 an m15 but not on m1
Perhaps I havent got enough processing capacity on this pc?

Re: Elliott Wave Indicator - Elliott Wave in 1 Second
Can you post some pics? I suspect it's not showing because price action is not meeting the conditions. You won't see TZ1 and TZ2 if a there is no W3 / W4 on the chart.wiseambitions wrote:Hi Stevesnorm wrote:I expect it will change with developing price action, Ray. Re: Elliott Wave Indicator - Elliott Wave in 1 Second
Hi, I'm attaching a screenshot with example of a trade done early this afternoon (around 1330 GMT).
However much I expand or reduce the scale or change colours the horizontal FIB lines aren't showing on this timeframe which is m5 although they are there as normal on m15
I will try on another broker demo platform and see if any pattern emerges.

Re: Elliott Wave Indicator - Elliott Wave in 1 Second
I dont think colour comes into the problem which I am encountering, which is to say that if I toggle through the timeframes the situation is as of 1655GMT with EURUSD on Alpari is
m1 No fib lines showing. Last wave identified was designated a 3, with that number attached to a bar on the 1603 candle.
m5 fiblines now show ok (both directions of current price)
m15 ditto
I have also installed the ewaves indicator to another broker and am getting same results, fiblines not showing on m1, but there on m5 and m15.
Perhaps what Snorm said earlier this afternoon explains the reason.

Simples - no W4, no Fib Expansion lines. Let price do its thing and all will be revealed.wiseambitions wrote:I dont think colour comes into the problem which I am encountering, which is to say that if I toggle through the timeframes the situation is as of 1655GMT with EURUSD on Alpari is

Re: Elliott Wave Indicator - Elliott Wave in 1 Second
The point is that if there is no wave 4 yet, how can there be a Wave 5? So if you see a 3, don't jump too hard ahead of yourself into a 5, a 5 that is only in your mind but may or may not (remember 50%) come into existence. too early! 8-}snorm wrote:Simples - no W4, no Fib Expansion lines.
