Re: Jasmien's Journals.
I want to trade H1-H4, and I'm trying to get a rough idea about average SL in pips.
The idea of 15 pips for M1, in the book.
From your experience, what would be an average, and a max SL in pips?
also, I'm struggling reading your journal, because of some terms:
ATM
CBO
B/E (apparently break even)
DS x/y
what is their meaning?
ps
Immy indicated your journal

Reasons for trade other than signal were:
I actually wasn't sure about this signal, there was uncertainty. I am very familiar with the gold chart, so I know when it moves it moves. But the ewave wasn't picture perfect, even though things did line up fresh cross etc. I am still trying to get it right with ewave it kind of a love hate relationship.
What i learned from this trade: Make sure you have a clear wave count as best as I can.
I learned the following: I don't have to trade gold as gold correlates with AU and U/CAD which both pairs are already in my trading universe, I have no removed it. Cant wait to add gold on a different strategy though in near future hopefully.
DS2/3
I am happy to NOT give myself a score here.
This for me was not a good setup for various reasons. But I'd rather post a picture of a Setup that I like. I think this will give you enough information as to what type of setups we look for. This is very specific to the "personality" of Gold.

In the picture above you see a strong move on NFP and the next day there is NOT great pullback. If there was pullback I'd like to end near the highs to the left , see where price meets purple before the spike up. but this was rather easier.
In the next slide I take you to the next level. I won't have commented on this earlier but having seen you completing your T20, on H1, it now is sufficient evidence that you mean "business". Gradually you'll begin to understand "nuances" ...

ps: whats the extra thing on your chart... wait, don't tell me, I don't care...
Awesome Immy, thanks for your feedback, very helpful

Immy: Its a visual thing but generally 50 pips![]()
also, I'm struggling reading your journal, because of some terms:
ATM = generally ATM means "At the Moment" LOL or "automated Teller Machine" hehe as you know but in this case it means Advanced Trade Manager by our long term buddy Steve. His website www.for-exe.com can truly be considered as a Gold mine for MT4 loving Traders of the world.
CBO
B/E (apparently break even) YES
DS x/y [This one is not just an acronym because there is some more explaining to be done behind this. This is the Caculation method for the T20 Principle. Only available to people who would like to be SERIOUS Business owners of Forex Trading. Those who want to accept the fact that just like any Skilled Work, trading requires training and the focus of that training is LESS on the Technical Analysis of the market and more on the Traders "generic" abilities one of which is on the TOP... Discipline. T20 is a method of training. Discipline Score....
what is their meaning?...
Hope it helps...

Re: Jasmien's Journals.
interesting to see you've left T1000 alone... might that be due to the Mercury effect?

G/U short
Signal: 14-10-2016
Signal time: 16:00 GMT
Triggered 22:00 GMT
SL: 56 pip
Reasons for trade other than signal were:
1.I thought an opportunity, and Gbp/Usd is a familiar chart to me however at that point we started to establish within Skype room that it would be wiser to stay away from the Gpb/Usd.
2.In hindsight wave count could have been a bit clearer.
Outcome Profit/loss RR: 1R Loss
What i learned from this trade: Make sure you have a clear wave count as best as I can. And I should have realised that Gbp/Usd shouldn't have been a pair to trade at that point in time.

Eur/Usd Short
Signal: 18-10-2016
Signal time: 13:00 GMT
Triggered 14:00 GMT
SL: 20 pip
Reasons for trade other than signal were:
I felt good, and I saw an apple but I don't know anything about apple's but would love to
) the apple was at wave 4 near purple so this indicated to me that there is a good chance we are going to see a setup 1, I triggered the entry far too soon and also realised it straight away but stayed in the trade because I felt comfortable, but it went against my DS obviously so "0" score for me on this trade.
1.It had my favourite wave pattern very clear wave 3, than a wave 4, it was about to go into a tentative 5.
2.As you know by now this is my favourite setup, when I see a 3 and established a 4 I get excited.
Outcome Profit/loss RR: TP reached. 2.0:1
What i learned from this trade: Even though I reached a 2:01 TP I should not get astray from my Trading Plan.

Aud/Usd Long
Signal: 17-10-2016

SL: 28 pip
Reasons for trade other than signal were:
I saw my favourite ewave pattern box was good too, I almost did not take it because I thought the box could be a little smaller but then I thought this is my favourite ewave pattern no guess work and Immy called this trade out as well on Skype

What i learned from this trade: Take more note of pattern which don't make you to guess the ewave count, loosen up a little with box sizes. I rather have the experience of a B/E trade than no trade but of course I try not to be silly, but box is a bit of eyeballing to see if it is relatively small in comparison to the other boxes.
