Indicator settings

Unread post by tfilipe »

Hi guys and girls,
Glad to be here and looking forward to learning this system a bit better

As some of you may know...! I've was a basic member here for quite some time.... I learned the system on my own with the help of the ebook and that is it. to be honestly I never pay much attention to it until a few months ago :)

Since becoming a premium member, I've been reading the forum from top to btm, I have to admit! I am more confused now than I was before :-?

These are the indicators i am using on my charts
Aims Gator 5.1
Entry Alert 5.3
Aims Box 5.1
Aims Waves 5.2

and recently added Aims Setup1 v2 Advance

I will post some screen captures bellow to explain better my queries!

I am trading the H1 charts, simply because of time and personal preference

My queries:
Green and pink dots on entry alert, by default the indicator shows all dots blue and red plus the black diamond, no pink or green; in version 5.3 are they necessary! did i miss something somewhere? Any other setting in same indi, that need to be changed for higher TF or not!
Also I seem to get lots of red and blue dots and also diamond signals on my charts, perhaps a result of setting not being correct!!! I don't know.

I guess what I am trying to get at is....! For higher TF exactly what settings do I (we) need to worry about changing!

The answer is simple. You are using the Wrong version of Entry Alert. Only use AIMS Entry Alert V5.1. V5.3 is intended for advanced users who know what they are doing and want to play around with the settings. (its my settings I use for myself.) We designed the multi coloured dots to help newbies. Its akin to pronunciation guides for beginners while learning a language. I like to have my charts clean> i can tell when there is a dot or not even if I don't have a dot alert. I can tell if its a setup or not with as less indicators as possible. But thats experience. You may want to Follow the Flow Chart and use V5.1. Don't even both with "AIMS S 1 - Advanced". Simple Template Attach AIMS Box v5.1 , then AIMS Gator v5.1, then AIMS Wave v5.1 (or go and purchase eWave from Steve's website, you will get a 25% discount being a premium member) and then attach that. lastly apply AIMS Entry Alert V5.1. Standard Settings.

Keep it simple!

cheers

ps: one of the picture shows red dot even when against purple because as long as the purple is within the box, the ENTRY will be on the correct side of Purple since Entries are made at the break of AIMS above or below.

Ok... got ya! will be changing accordingly, all settings are default for higher TF on all Indicators? as a learner of Aims, should i select ''show false signals'' to true or false?

Agree entirely

So, you saying if signal is given when the purple is inside the AimsBox the entry is valid? even if signal candle is on the wrong side of purple?
