Questions about Purple Line, Levels of M5, Grey line

Unread post by immy »

Hi Vish

You've send me the following questions in your email. Below I'll post the questions with answers.

Q1. I am totally confused about the instances where we trade towards the purple line as explained in the manual. I am not certain about the rules and circumstances when we do trade towards the purple line.

Ans. We DO NOT trade towards purple line. The example in the rules pfd is not included to say, "trade towards purple line" it is there to show what I mean by NOT trading towards purple line. In the new book i have tried to say thinks differently. I hope you'll enjoy reading it and understanding the setup should be even better.

Q2. In the videos, you mention about the need to check levels on the 5 min chart before trading on the 1 min chart. Do we trade the 5 min or 1 min chart?? I believe that the new indicators/template incorporate 5 min time frame references within the 1 min chart. Not sure if I have understood correctly. Please could you clarify??

Ans. We Trade M1. but in the direction of M5. To check m5 levels means checking your outer most aims levels to the left of your entry. obviously m5 is nothing but the m1 chart condensed. So if you see an AIMS Level to hte left on m1 it might not be an AIMS level on m5 as well. but then there are other AIMS level which are aims levels on m1 and m5 at the same time. making them stronger Support/Resistance levels. now i dont focus too much on S/R but its a good thing to look at. I focus more on making my emergency exit less risky as possible.

Q3.You mention about the grey line, but am unable to see the grey lines in the examples provided in the manual. Could you explain where to look for the grey lines?? The AIMS level is in grey but am unable to see the grey lines.

Ans. The grey line is the purple line of M5. We later decided not to show grey line because of people getting confused and not knowing how to trade it. we do not use grey line in our trading any more. the new version of the book has a totally new view on this. I am suggesting to trade exactly the way all the AIMSters trade. Trading off two charts.
We trade m5 with entries on m1 or call it this, we trade m1 in the direction of m5. (our direction is taken from "which side of the alligator is the price"?)

I hope it makes sense.

cheers
