I Dont Get the Talking Sound Alerts

To Resolve the Above Issue Please do the Following

1. Check if you have installed all the sound files into the correct folder. Make sure only the files from the zip folder have been copied in to the Sound Folder in your MT4 installation directory. Some people copy the entire folder, including the folder, it does not work.
2. Does your broker show an extra letter before or after the usual 6 letter pair name? e.g. EURUSDm or mEURUSD?
If Yes, then right click on your chart go to Indicators List and Select AIMS Talking Alert or AIMS Entry Alert V2a - SoundAlert Indicator. Click Edit then click on Input Tab. Make Sure SoundOn is set to True. Now if you have mEURUSD put m in the prefix or if you have EURUSDm put m in field next to Suffix. Click Ok and save the template.

(wd) Thanks, I was wondering why this wasn't working (am using Smartlive / GKFX) and they add SB to their pairs!

I do not get the talking alarms. I checked there were 56 files to be loaded and were not working. Do not have any other digits letters after the currency. I also moved other files out of sounds that were initially set up yesterday and still not working. Any advice be appreciated. Thanks geraint

In case you haven't discovered what to do yet. Do this:-
In MT4 Open your AIMS chart - Go to Charts/Indicators List/Aims Entry AlertV2A - Sound Alerts. Click Edit. Click Inputs Tab.
In The Value field of The Suffix Enter SB Click OK and close the edit box. You will now have the sound alerts with GKFX/SmartLive

I cant find the sound files are they automatically installed with V5 or do I have to get them from the V2 zip file??

The V2 sound files dont work with V5. First install V5 and then add V5.1 indicators.
