Dot alerts and validity of dots

Hi,

I wonder whether there is a cut of time limit between a dot alert, and then price breaking the aims levels. For example on the 1hr/4hr, a dot alert is made, assuming all other parameters are met, but then the breaking candle of aims is 4-6 candles later. Does the initial dot alert become invalid, and if so what is the cut off point?

HI,

There is no cut off time as such. However the length and age of the AO after the cross of 0 line must be taken into account.

If AO still looks ok then take the trade if it looks old then i'd pass and wait for a fresh set up
