AIMS Entry Alert 5.1 Bug Fix

Unread post by snorm »

Hi All

I noticed a bug where a red dot was printing even though the AIM Box was 'too big'. Sorry about that - the gremlins attacked ~x(

Updated version attached.

cheers

I have updated the V5.1 Upgrade Link, it now contains the bug free copy of AIMS Entry Alert V5.1.

If you have not already downloaded the V5.1 Upgrade then you do not need to download this indicator here. You only need to download the V5.1 upgrade from the Links Above.

Hi snorm,
Also noticed that some of the objects are not always persistant, maybe you could look at that?
For example the dot size and colours...
Apart from that, nice work m8...

Sure Steve, what dya make of this picture (attached) ?
Some pretty weird shit is going on with the AimS Waves (almost all parameters are at default)
and the large dot size gets lost (i prefer them big, like women!).
I have done some MQL myself (although am a software developper in other languages)
Im not sure if its some kind of buffer issue or worse case maybe you could use the FileOpen/Read/Write
processes to localise the variables, else im not sure why the objects seem to lose persistance some times,
and in the absence of the MQ4 wouldnt know :D...

See what you can make of this anyway, i'm sure you like having feedback ;)

Rgds. Jeff

Hey Jeff

what do I make of the picture???? It's not something I'd want to wall-paper my bedroom with :))

What does the default template look like? I notice you have all sorts of extras there. Obviously I can only go by what I see on my charts and with my 4 digit broker, everything looks hunky dory. Grant picked up an issue on the hourly yen pairs, which I'm working on (dots too close to price). Can you post a full screen shot, showing times, of a good UK/US session with non-congested range?

Anyone else seeing this problem????

cheers

Hi

I have lots of orange on Aims Waves 5.1. Similar to Jeff's pic above. Have not seen these pattern sin the set up ebook - the orange (sleeping alligator) is usually small. Russ

I have uploaded and installed the AIMS Entry Alert V5.1 indicator. Now I get the blue and red dot and the small black squares. What does that mean?

The blue dot means now is not a good time to eat a lorry load of Cadburys Cream Eggs.
The red dot means it's time for a beer
The small black squares means the world will end in Dec 2012.

If you don't believe any of that, have a read of "What's New in V5.1" which you'll find right here ...http://www.itradeaims.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=563" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
