I keep getting an "Arabic" Looking Alert Message and have checked this with my broker (ATC) and they said it is coming from an EA I have installed on my template. I am running the VE AIMS EA and AIMS v5.1 Indicators and Templates. A screenshot is attached. Does anyone know what is going on ???
Thanks in advance,
Michael

Hi Michael. can you start with a blank template and add just the Alerts indicator, to see if the problem is there?
This is a new one one me but let's see if we can find out what's cooking.
cheers

Hi Steve -
Thanks for the quick response.
I checked my Experts Tab in the Trade Terminal and saw that "Arabic" stuff next to an indicator that I loaded after reading other traders journals. The indicator was iFractals. I went into the indicator and turned the "alerts" choice from true to false. Lets see what happens now.
I will keep you posted.

I think AIMS Box is the most advanced Fractal Indicator, you dont need iFractal! All those arrows up and down look ugly dont you think??PPCPilot wrote:Hi Steve -

Hi Immy -
You are right about the arrows so I changed their color to the same as the background color so I dont see them. Of course I have the AIMS Box v5.1 but what I like about the iFractal is the fact that it paints a Right Price Label at the upper and lower AIMS levels of the current AIMS BOX. No guesswork for the PO. That makes placing a PO very quick without me having to spend time using the crosshair tool to find out what the correct price should be.

A very quick and accurate way of placing a trade is to use the crosshairs to measure 3pips (or whatever pip value you want) from the aims level then click the right hand mouse button and select trading - 'buy stop' or 'sell limit'. The price that you will be entering at will be displayed alongside.

Thanks Richard. Sounds like a very fast and efficient technique. I will give it a shot on my next trade.
