Hi Immy
I found several cases where the blue or red dot, not in places where, in my opinion they were supposed to appear. (As in the example attached).
Maybe you have an explanation?
Thanks

Perhaps you are applying the template designed for m1 on to an M5 chart. My guess is you have the following settings on your AIMS Entry Alert,
Show Purple True,
Filter AO 0.0006
Filter AIMS Box pips = 15 or may be 20
and most importantly.
Show Invalid Dots = False.
If you had the last one turned to true it would have given you powder blue dot. But remember that V5.1 template is designed for M1 on EUR/USD.
I hope this helps
Cheers

Re: The blue/red dot
Hi Immy, why do I have red dots on my chart on the wrong side of the purple?
I have the FilterPurple set to true.
Thanks in advance
John.

Re: The blue/red dot
HI John
Although this has been addressed many times before but I'll give you a quick answer again.
The indicator is coded that way. When you have the purple line inside upper and lower fresh AIMS Levels you will see a coloured dot. This is because if purple is inside AIMS Levels then a Setup could be valid, depending on other criteria of course.
cheers

Re: The blue/red dot
Hi John
Just to add to Immy's reply - the test for purple line is done at the time of the bar. If a new AIMS level is formed just after the bar has completed, suggesting that the purple is now outside of AIMS, the indicator won't go back to change the dot. Your two highlighted dots are examples where a new AIMS level was formed just after the dot was printed.
cheers
Steve

Re: The blue/red dot
Hi Immy and Steve thanks for your prompt reply, come to think about it I have seen this before. I think I'll go and stand in the corner with a dunce's hat on for an hour, then I might remember. Oh the joys of growing older.
Thanks John.
Thanks John.
