Re: Dave from Sydney's Journal
Such a nice trade Dave. I was on the charts on that time and was thinking "this must be a S1 on lower 8-12 seconds timeframe. I'll take this." and then refocused, didn't take it and started trading on M1 again
I tried to check S12, but custom timeframe component won't use history for S12. Anyone willing to show S12 chart? I know some of you have it

Tomi!
I know its quite tempting but then again, we have to choose, are we trading S12 or are we trading m1. For that reason I stopped looking at it. And as long as its there I will take trades on it and it is ONLY good for NEWS events.

Re: Dave from Sydney's Journal
Focus, focus and focus! My focus is on M1 absolutely but it's just like the feeling when checking H1 charts and see famous pattern. Go down to M15 and most likely there will be S1. I got the same feeling when looking M1 and "was sure" that there will be S1 on S12 or similar lower timeframe. M1 requires full attention and focus already and let's not break it. Just out of curiosity would have been fun to see S12 chart. Anyway this is Dave's journal and sorry for messing aroundimmy wrote:Tomi!

Discuss away! It's all the same patterns, HTF/LTF, H1/M15, M5/M1, M1/S12... higher timeframe pullbacks into S1. This is one of my favourite pictures clearly illustrating this pattern, an oldie but a goodie!

Break of the range with LO momentum... EU closed to make the DAX trade risk free (which is a shame, because the EU kept dropping), and the DAX entry was for Grant - a seed on the pullback
