Darren: How would you have dealt with the short trend earlier if you were not short? I can see about 5 fruits I could have taken with small loses and there wasn't a fruit at the end of the move. I guess you keep trying! 12:14
Immy: sorry i was buying some stuff on ebay 12:31
Immy: lemme read 12:31
Immy: very interesting question and an enlightening answer awaits in the forum.

The answer is in the Picture.

The idea is that if you see a fruit and it turns into an AIMS level and trend is still down, put a SAR so you'd get out and get back in the direction of the trend. This might sound daunting at first but it really isn't. It covers the rent and keeps you in tune with trend.

Thanks for that explanation Immy, I can see how that would recover a fruit loss quickly if there is a good trend, and then the fruit that works gets in the next wave! :)

M5 vs M1.

think about it this way. if you were sittin trading all day, taking each m5 signal you won't go mental and your head wont hurt as much as it would hurt on m1. and the other thing, if you traded m5 all day you'd be way above m1 in score as m5 today at least comprehensively beat m1 signals... Pick your Weapon and thrash the markets... I'm intersted to conduct a research whether m5 would actually be better for trading as compared to m1 in the long run. I'm 50 50 on it so must do research... any volunteers?

what's more interesting... you would not need to look at any other chart. Just M5 on Fruit Template. 3 indicators one alert.

Immy - Looking at the chart you posted made me look at each fruit and raised a question with each one which I annotated on your chart. Could you check out my comments and give me your thoughts?

fxsam wrote:This is really a million dollar question immy. m5 or m1 ? Personally i feel more comfortable with m5 as it reduce all the noise of m1 so less signals which is itself a filter. The only issue is some time you see big fruit or no fruit and don't get any setups at all in trending market so still undecided about this. i am in favour of m5.

Thank You Sam for your valuable input. I resonate to your tunes.

Today's Campaign. A silly start and a choppy first hour. Tried fruit twice but no joy. third time it went in my favour with a lot of patience.

Hey Darren, sorry I was gonna comment but missed it.

But thanks for bringing it up in the chatroom.

Darren: Immy - I made some comments on your chart in the fruit section on Tuesday, did you see it? 10:33
Darren: Just trying to clear some fruity things up in my head. 10:34
Darren: Now you are up for the day! 10:35
Immy: 1. that small loss or not valid signal, we discussed it in chat.. one may or may not exit on that. chances are you would, sometimes you wont. 10:36
Immy: 2. AA type fruit but inside box, is it valid? why not. if its AA there is a reason to believe but yes, a fruit at the top of the wave outside box is certainly better. 10:37
Darren: ok 10:37
Immy: AO not old... that's new to me. 10:37
Immy: this one campaign covers the rents and some more. 10:38
Darren: I mean AO not peaking 10:38
Darren: quite fresh 10:38
Immy: you saw AO is not old but did not see it was potential end of wave 5. 10:39
Immy: which was proven wrong later, as it turned into 3 of 5 down and 5 was follwed a little later 10:40
Darren: Ahh yes, true.
