Daily Update: 01/11/2016
Took UJ long trade resulted in BE. Could not find entry on EU ( regret that ). Its moved a long way up.
UJ trade which i have been carrying for past some days resulted in BE because of severe downward move, it did not close below the daily 20SMA as suggested by Immy. I held on and it was a good holding exercise. Patience, keep trading, A big winner is round the corner is the mantra.

Today i got opportunity to get in. Took GU and UJ in the morning both are FT. Tried GU a couple of time in evening, both Rent. Everything was moving hence the attempt to get in. The second GU rent could have been avoided, but still took it as one trade would pay for all.
Not being in EU long is a regret. Its continuing its upward journey.

Good trades so far. Yes, EU we should have been long. I was blinded by the shorts myself. if not the 28th of Oc at least the 1st of nov entries were a must.

Re: BOXEED --- iMi Method
Q1. What did we learn from the EUR/USD drop? Was it a strong downtrend within a strong down trend? Was it a down trend within a sideways market?
Q2. which pairs are within strong trends on HTFs, and which ones are within range bound. How do you play them?
Q3. or do you want to stick to the simplest form. which was explained in the video.
Just my quick thoughts

Q3. or do you want to stick to the simplest form. which was explained in the video.
Just my quick thoughts
A1: It was a downtrend within a sideways market.
A2: Those out of ranges on daily are with-in really strong trends that can go miles. EU is with-in range. GU seems to be trending and UJ looks to have just entered a range. Its better to play trends within ranges with a slightly tighter exit condition, this way you do not give up all your profits and still let it run as much as possible. For. eg. This EU up trend if i would have caught it would have liked to follow the red line on H4 instead of D1. That way i do not give up all my profits. This is not part of the original plan of trading with D1-red line or 20sma on D1 so i would not do it as it was not pre-decided.
A3: Simplest form is very good, but severe draw downs can happen. I don't know what's the best thing to do i'm just following the plan at the moment. Will await your views on this.

Re: BOXEED --- iMi Method
Daily update: 4/11/2016
I have 2 UJ positions and when the market opened monday morning it gapped up and stops got triggered. One was BE and other a 2R Rent.
i was just following the plan but Immy's previous post has made me think "What is the middle path". Often middle path is the best solution for sustainable long term success. That would mean altering the current plan of following red line on D1 or 20sma. I really don't know what the end result would be of any change. i will talk to immy and take corrective actions where-ever necessary.

Re: BOXEED --- iMi Method
My EUR/USD campaign ended up like so. but I've missed all the longs.

[13:27:59] Immy - AIMS: ref to your previous message in the forum, you gotta look at what you can take. the best most profitable way Is the 20 sma but it is the hardest way. so if you can't imagine doing that. then use a different method. of trailing. one that is within your reach. so lets say, trail the box on H1. lets start there. this way you'll enjoy taking those profits... do this for 6 months... no more no less. we will then look at it around that time. again
[13:28:23] Immy - AIMS: this surely is the toughest year for the let it run on d1 .. .so we adapt to it.
[13:28:37] Immy - AIMS: because nothing si trending but imagine if you did that last year and 2014... oh lala
[13:29:14] Immy - AIMS: i'm happy with 5-10% a month and it can give you that on h1 ... just think Monday to Friday.
[13:29:49] Immy - AIMS: put eWave on. and trade until it diverges. that's a thought.
[13:30:10] Immy - AIMS: not ewave , osrry, just the aims wave or the normal ao.
[13:30:53] Immy - AIMS: I have never lost on this method. its just so simple and easy for me. I have a separate account dedicated to it. but I do miss trades.
