 On M5 both indices is going up.
 Nas H1 is down.
 Dow H1 is a mess..
 Lets see what the open brings.
 It is bank holiday so mostly looking. I dont havet hat much time today either so just a quick look.
 I saw my setup so i took it. I was a little hesitant. Afraid but i took it.
After that i was done.
 Good job today

NEWS 11:00 german news. Us news at 16:00 and 17:15. ORANGE

D1 Down
H1 Down. Retested a level during the morning. Analysis is that it will go down to the zone.
M5 Down

From FO Bearish.

THOUGHTS AND TRADES
Price went down at lo but got rejected almost right away. Went abow the open line and went up to the overnight high.

The move up was too climatic so i am on the sideline for now. Also ended with a channel.I wanted a pullback in the middle of thismove.
It  continues to go up. Hits the high to the left and starts to pull back. Doubletop and goes down.
I am waiting.Didnt take the waltz. Will observe it a few more weeks to learn when to take it.
This was a good one.M1 is now in a range.
I am waiting at the charts till 11:00 (12:00 Mt4) to see if it breaks.

Took a climatic setup..... Marked it as a ds0 after speaking to Immy. Was blinded by the signal. Climatic means do not look for a setup.

 Went long… entry slipped. I am smelling a b trap.
It was that. Rent NEXT
Ds1 but the seed is to big.

Us30 is now impulsive but i see the move as too long. 
ot climatic but too long. It did a 3 candle pullback.. did not take it as i saw it as too shallow after that move.

As long as we keep take these same signals over and over, in the longer term, they will all even out. Including the NAS Long today and the US30 missed one and the NAS short from YD. We can't be perfect and we should not be even striving for perfection. We should look for 70% DS and 50% win rate. That's all we need.

NEOToday was tricky.There is a fine line between being scared and conservative. Today i think i made good desicions.
In hindsight it feels like i have missed my signals…
But i am sticking to my first thought. I did good!I am proud that i held my rules and did nkt fall for the temptation.

DAX opens to the downsside and reacts to the low of premarket.
i am waitong for a clean move that breaks the low.
I have two lines that define the range that dax is in. It needs to broke the lines for me to be interested in getting in. A 30 pips range. Not touching it.T


ook a trade on a signal when it had braken the range.
Not totally stupid if there was volume!!! but spread looked huge which means lacking volume….BIG DS0. Its not the environment for my type of trading.Was there a breakout- yes. Wasit impulsive? NO . And there the story ends.I am walking away now and breaths.I am not trading more this session. When this happens i need to take action.
Rereading my plan and just watching the rest of the session.The rule that was missing (if i only look at the setup)
Was that it has to be 2-3 candles MAX 5 impuls.
I only had on and in doji. That is not my setup.

Both indices is in a range. I have marked the high and low. Waiting untill they break the levels.
Dow moves up but no signal for me. Now its so high up that i will probably not be able to trade it this session.
Dow moved down and got climatic... so no trade.

Nasdaq is in a range. I wait for it to break.. otherwise no trade.

No trade during NEO. Good session.

How do we define a breakout? 

A trading range is formed when there are 2 or more highs and lows at equal levels (zones). It's often not perfect but roughly a zone. 

Now, what is a breakout? If the price goes above a high or goes below the low of the range, is that a breakout? Does that count as a breakout? Yes, surely, it is a breakout of the range but is it "the Breakout Phase?". 

What we need, for our purpose, is a Volatility Breakout with Momentum.

That is what we call a Breakout. A Breakout can happen within a trend as well. A Good breakout is made of 

1. Volatility rises compared to previous volatility 
2. Momentum continues in the direction of a trend 
3. There are consecutive similar colour trend candles 

That is a breakout.

Feeling like the worst tradet in the world...
I am feeling alot of frustrations these days.
Setups are rare and that is fine but it messes with the brain.
