Dax has a thin market this morning its gappy. I had a PO to go short on a signal. Went right back into the range.


I am waiting for a move.. Its new later today so might be slow until then. We will see.

1, move gone and not clear enough.
 Nothing excited during the morning session on DAX.

I have a minimum sl of 10 pips. And i change the sl to the range of the candle when its smaller than that and then i keep the TP.
So this reached 2 R if i count the range of the candle.

I remained objective during the whole session, market was thin though.  :rock

Result +2,4%  (Risking 0,5%)
Ds score 84%

 I will let the results speak for them selfes.
The statistics are correct which means i am doing just fine. 
I have done some misstakes and i will work on improving by doing less of it.
I have been taking more trades than than i usually do. The result is good.
One reason is that i can now stay objective for a longer period of time.

I have payed little to no attention to levels ( still look for ranges) and more attention towards the setup and where in the cykle the setup is.
That have made me more confident and i have taken valid trades when i see them.
Less hesitation and more just taking my trades.

I still experience fear, fomo and some times confusion as well but i am working hard on being aware of when that happens and take controll over the situation (not the feelings). The work coninues

Grey arrow 1 – Here i would like to have got a signal to go short.
 
3 signal – Was gong to be taken but ATM errored. Thing there was a managing problem. (Accountproblem, going to get it sorted now).

About the trade. 
I am aware of that its not the best time of the day to trade. Although its valid, but i know i can do better.

I will come back to assess if i did the right thing. I see both trades as valid right now. ticks all the rules. No need to analyse more.

I placed one trade on nas today. nothing wrong with it. unfortunatley a rent so i hit my DD today -1.5% and i left.

Daily review.

Have 2 losers on dax and i am thinking thoughts like….. -Of course they did not work. Its not the time to trade and bla bla bla. They are both valid trades. I am stopping my analysis there. Dont need to overthink this. I will do a review in the end of the week or around 20 trades and see if i am doing anhything wrong. I cant do a review on 2 trades.

My backtest of the sessions today.
I did not have time during the whole Session on Dax today. That made me miss signals and the ones i took rented. 
I am working hard to accept that and let it go. not easy at all.

I think your back testing of the daily sessions is a great idea. Looking for an M5 TC and then drilling down to M1 to look for a setup - very powerful.

As I miss a lot of the morning sessions unless the kids are on holiday I have started doing the same thing and it really is an eye opener.
