Thank you for reposting this. I knew Emma got funded with MFF, but didn't know she trades for a living now, or what she did before trading for a living. Well done Emma! I'd like to ask if Emma could describe how here journey from deciding " I want to get funded, trade for a living"  until getting funded, has been. Very much interested in how she has been juggling all balls.
Emma, this is you journal so you will probably read this. Could you please describe your journey?

I am chugging along. I am maintaining a high Ds score but i am in a slow period. I am aware of that all strategys have better and less good periods. 
The problem in these less good periods is that the brain starts to look for other solutions like "what if i do this?" or "what can i change to make it better?".

I am not changing though. I have a proven edge that show in the long run. 

I am seeing the benefit of recording the trades in batches of 20 instead of weeks and months. 

4 of the trades was kicked out by a pippet and then went to hit 3R
1 trade missed TP with a couple of pips. 
This is where the probability thinking is powerful. If i take these setups over and over, record them and keep a high winrate i will win in the long run.

I am not making any horrific misstakes. I just have to trade the setup and refine the skill, not change it.

Today i was a bit late to the session. 

No news today

The first trade i got tunnelvision and just saw the break of the level to the left and then the retest. What i overlooked was that is was the 4th pullback. A Ds0

I later took a setup on nas.  A ds1

No news to be aware of during LO session

I placed one trade today. 
The idea behind it is a bit mechanical. A HH and everything according to the rules. 
The context though... Was it really a new HH or just a little nudge above the level. 



After that it went sideways but then it broke that. it was stretched but not climactic to me. 
The first pullback candles  was a bit too impulsive so the seed was a NO for me.  
But then when it rejected the low of the pullback and made a confirmation candle i talked myself out of it. Fear of losing money.

This bothering me. Why was i more keen on taking the first trade that was not nearly out of the mess and then hesitated so much that i did not take it when it was clearly moving with no levels to the left.

In a confusion period.

I want to trade high probability setups in the direction of the HTF. I am chasing trades on M1. . . . . 
I added the 50 EMA. to be in line with M5. Which i always should be.

You did not care for levels to the left this time. And that is exactly what you should have done.

I am going through some mental change. 
I have had a VERY difficult time whit the "long term perspective". Thinking that i have this, now it is just to do the same every day. That thought just leave me dissapointed. 

So i am slowing down. Mentally, not trade wise. 
My go to thinking goes something like.
it doesnt matter if i get payed or not this month, the everyday life is still the same. Money is not going to change my life. I have to change to benefit from it in the future. 
The now is the only thing we have for sure  

A saying form Eckhart tolle i like 
" Realise deeply that the present moment is all you will ever have"
Helps with the greed. That is one of the things i have experienced lately


I am getting back to basics. 
5/10 ema. Momentumtrades and 50 ema as the overall trend. 
With these emas i dont get lured into countertrend trades and also i dont take slow trades. When ema is not smooth = no trades.
10 ema HAVE to point in the trade direction. 
Now i will LOCK the template


Back to todays trading.
Today was good, looking at the trades i have taken. They are the ones i should be trading. 
The trade on nas. DS1 and slipped so rented instead of a be trade. 
First trade on DAX. Should have moved the PO to the next candle. it got triggered before that so a be.
The second trade on dax. A good one.
