Re: Kyle's Journal
Thanks Immy,
I was sure I did upgrade it all, but the alligator, box and entry alert were all 5.0
Upgraded now.
Thanks again:)

Re: Kyle's Journal
Last trade before going to bed (nearly 0200 here)
Entered a short, but again, maybe should wait on Alligator to sleep as such.
First Black Diamonds came up indicating to possibly get out of trade, however, volume not coming up to indicate a reversal, so I stayed in the trade. When the AIMS level changed to a lower high, I moved the SL to just above it, securing a risk free trade.
Eventually, closed trade out on the 3rd Black Diamond, seeing some extra volume coming in.
Happy with it, but still need to work on checking everything first before entry.

Re: Kyle's Journal
Thanks for your reply Herbert. I will definately be in contact with them
I have a question arising from a trading opportunity I just saw that may have produced big dividends.
First chart brought up a possible short on 1m but the 5min purple line was not heading down. By the time the candle passed the trigger line, the initial AIMS box had shifted and at that stage was on the other side of the purple line. Is this a valid short. Which SL to use, since a new AIMS box was created? Also, which order entry would be used, the first AIMS box or 2nd??
Other than that, it would have been a huge trade.
1.26721 Entry
1.26780 Stop Loss (5.9 pips)
1.26267 Exit (45.4 pips)
1:7.7 Risk Reward ratio - WOW
First Chart is Entry, and any advice to see if it was correct
2nd Chart shows trade through to exit
I am happy for any suggestions, advice etc.
Thanks guys (and I'm sure girls as well)

Re: Kyle's Journal
Afternoon,
Well done on starting a journal, i know it has benefited me enormously.
To answer your latest points and remember this is how i would do it which could of course differ from Imran or any other of the AIMSters.
For SL and entries i would always use the latest AIMS levels printed.
If the m1 purple is inside the AIMS level and my PO is the correct side for that trade (ie below for short, above for long) then i would take the trade
i don't have a purple line on my m5 chart.
yes that was a valid short, my entry was at 1.26670 under the m5 AIMS level and i got out at just under the h1 aims low at 1.2643.
i hope i explained that well enough, if not just shout
Grant

Re: Kyle's Journal
Thanks for the info Grant. I watched it in action and couldn't believe my eyes with it. Just demo'ing at the moment, but that is just to learn the entry/exit etc and then real money in it maybe at the end of a months demo. Looks very promising so far

Re: Kyle's Journal
My third trade tonight. Unfortunately, I think I was a bit early on the other two - not ideal setups, but this one was a doozy
If anyone wants to see, I can post the two losing ones. Also on myfxbook as it automatically grabs every trade.
Everything ideal in my opinion.
Alligator Asleep - Trade Type 1
Purple Correct (Trading away from it)
Dot candle inside AIMS - Yes
Exit Point > 15 - Yes
Trailed stop after 5 consecutive red candles. I trailed by 2 candles to allow some room with the exception of a non progressing candle.
1 : 1.94 Risk : Reward ratio for an almost 4% gain

Well done.
As you say that was easy, if only they were all that simple.

Re: Kyle's Journal
I also liked the confluence of the 1min and 5min sell entries at almost the same time. 5min 10 minutes before the 1min entry. The 5min short would still be in at the moment with 31 pips profit on 15 Pip Stoploss.
Does anyone take both a 5min and 1min entry, or do they mostly just take the 1min ones??

I only take one signal at a time. Which one I take depends which one I believe is the best.
I took the same trade as you and am now in the 2nd push down (currently +11)
