Batch 3 Trade 3

Unread post by eaxh »

This is one of those trades that makes me overthink.
Is it just rent or is it something that i miss?
Edit: I was stuck in the 4th wave of M1....
How can i avoid it in the future?
I´m not sure...

1. Trade Number: Batch 3 Trade 32. Date/Time: 19/ 11-2020 9:36
3. Symbol/TF: GER30/ S12
4. Signal Type / Direction : Setup 1 Buy
 5. Decision making:
Outside the box on the M5 and M1 and all rules completed.
So a pending order is placed

6.Feelings during the trade:
M1 is more in a pause/pullback than in a clean pullback and I start as usual to think that I would have filtered it.But at the time I placed the pending order, I had made an objective assessment based on my rules that I have set myself. And reminds myself that I put these rules in a state of mind that is good. And now I will also follow these in the moment.I must achieve at least 90% Ds1 and I achieve this by making these objective assessments and not letting my primitive brain take over. The momentum kind of died. But I will not make it a ds0 by touching it.
This is really testing my nervs.
I should leave my desk when I place a pending order. As it goes against me I start checking for signs that validates it.
It’s the First pullback on M1, but perhaps to late in the M5 Wave..I want to move the stoploss to BE but hat would not be disciplined so I will not! 7.Comments After Exiting the Trade:I should be honest. I dont like it when its rent….
Kicked me out by the pip, and then it went up and to My SL to BE-level.

Should i take it again? I think so. I can not filter every trade. I must take some trades and this was one that was according to my rules.
8. DS For this Trade: 1
9. DS Running Total: 2 / 3 (66% )

Hi Emma

There were a Gazillion exit signals... I know it must have put you in such a difficult mental state.

You've done well because you are doing your T20 Challenge. You're following your Set Trading Plan. Your Trade Management plan dictates that you go for  1R SL (stop loss)  and 2R TP (target point or take profit point)  plan. So, Congratulations. You have done exactly what the doctor ordered...  :nerd

If I were trading this... I'd have exited BE soon after it hit levels to the left... ...

In Stage 2... After 5 batches... you can bring a bit more complexity into your Trade Management

hope this helps

ps: the pain of "knowing what to do" but still not doing it because you want to earn a DS1... = The objective of Stage 1. (the objective of Stage 1 is NOT profit, not great trades..)

What is the Secret of Successful Trading?
The Consistent Pursuit of DS1 :nerd

The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".

I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.

My Deathbed Advice "5:1 Reward to Risk Ratio".

Hi!

Yes, it helps. Thank u!

i wanted so bad to exit it like a hundred Times... and move SL to BE quick, because of the levels.

The problem (or the good thing) is that i have watch all your videos on how to filter bad trades and how to minimize  risk, so thats what triggers when i am in a trade.

But i was disciplined as hell 😅

Could have been a great day for me.
Somehow , the first setup didn´t became any setup for me as purple was in the middle of the box.
The second I had a PO on down was not triggered because the red candle finished it before...

So a little bitter, but I know I shouldn't be. There will be more setups.

Batch 3 Trade 4

Unread post by eaxh »

One thing that is different this batch is that I ALWAYS look at the M5. About the price outside the box and open alligator. If this is not true then I am not even looking for setups on s12.
But still, I only have losing trades. I am 100% aware that losing trades can come in a row. But I just get the feeling it's something I'm missing.
I always manage to get into wave 4 of the M1.
Is it that I take trades too late in the wave...

BUT i am learning.

1. Trade Number: Batch
3 Trade 4
2. Date/Time: 26/ 11-2020 9:32
3. Symbol/TF: GER30/ S12
4. Signal Type / Direction : Setup 1 Sell

5. Decision making:
Second pullback on M1. Open gator and outside the box on M5
It was near a resistancelevel, but my move SL-BE was before that level (and S/R is not in my Stage 1 rules) so I put a PO.
And it was a new wave 3 on s12

 6.Feelings during the trade:
Looks right now that it is a btrap. If i didn´t have my Stage1 rules i would be out at this moment.
Probably when the green candle closed above the green line.

7.Comments After Exiting the Trade:I was B-trapped. Dont feel good about it.
ust get´s me confused.
Do i just have a loosing streak or am missing something…
The 9.10 candle on m1 violated the first pullback, so that means i took the third pullback?
Maybe thats the answer.

I consider this as according to the rules, so a ds1 trade i assume.

Hey Emma

I've read your comments in all 3 batches. So... Okay... so the question is this. Are you confident that you are 70%, disciplined trader?
If yes, here is a tweak for the next batch.
Introduce the additional Exit Options.
1. Box Trail. Hit hte Box Trail on your trades as soon as you enter the trade. This will trail the Stop loss using the market generated price swings.
2. Add Green Line Close as an Option as well. But ONLY use it for taking profits over 1R. e.g. if your trade is still not in 1R profit don't use green line close as an exit instead only apply Box Trail
Try these and see if you can stick to your rules.

Cheers

Batch 3 Trade 5

3. Symbol/TF: GER30/ S12
4. Signal Type / Direction : Setup 1 Buy
 5. Decision making:
Saw the setup 1, after the break of the boxes on Ht frames. I was just being objectiv, and placed a po.

6.Feelings during the trade:
Feels nice when the SL is moved to BE…
Now lets se wath happens.
Sitting and hoping for it to go up, like that would help it haha.

7.Comments After Exiting the Trade:Glad i made a ds1 trade. Happy that i didnt touched it during the trade.
My first 2R target hit.

Batch 3 Trade 6

Unread post by eaxh »

1. Trade Number: Batch 3 Trade 6

2. Date/Time: 2/12-2020 8:15
3. Symbol/TF: GER30/ S12

4. Signal Type / Direction : Setup 1 Sell

5. Decision making:
After the London okej, M5 was in a downtrend and made a first pause, wich was showing as a clean pullback and with a cherry on M1.
So when the setup 1 pattern showed up on s12 i took it.

6.Feelings during the trade:
Felt confident in the setup. The outcome is what it is.

7.Comments After Exiting the Trade:I got btrapped and kicked out.

 8. DS For this Trade: 1
