Thanks Grant, sorry about the trade but it really helps me to know you took the setup as I gave myself a big talking too yesterday to take only setups that I think make the grade.

As you say next.

Mike

I also took this trade and have been trying to figure where I went wrong. It's good to know others took it as well. It looks like it was just one of those that was not meant to be.

Yay! Happy to report a good trade, I was pleased with my entry and trade management. Entered short off the saddle but gave the entry an extra pip to be sure it was breaking, closed when price failed to break new aims level close to 15 min low which was my original target.

First trade this week and I pay the rent!

Looking for wave 5 move on 1 min, but it wasn't to be, alligator asleep, AO close to zero, but no momentum just prior to US open.

Ah well NEXT!

Trade 2 and more rent I'm afraid. -4 pips as moved stop after 5 pip profit and got pipped out.

So thats my second batch of 20 trades, overall -32pips so that means more work to be done.

Immy / Grant if you have any suggestions for me I'd be glad to hear them.

Thanks

Mike

I am far from been in a position to give you advice on Aims as I am new to this as well, however, the one thing I have learnt on here is less can mean more. I try and take trades that I am confident in, if I have any doubts I don't take it. Sometimes I see others getting good pips when I stay out but more often than not they are rent trades.

Stick with it Mike, don't get disheartened and between us we will all come through this and succeed.

Hi Mike,

I also took this trade with the exact same result. Frustrating to then see it turn around and go back in the right direction. Sometimes those tight stop losses joke out our trades. But....at least we followed our exit strategy so in a way we can consider this a success in respect to our discipline. At least that's how I'm looking at it. :)

HI Mike,

As you know i dont use the blue line of the alligator so to me and i know this is now in hindsight i would have passed on both those trades as the alligator was neither asleep nor awake heading in the right direction...

Like Brenda said you followed your plan to minimise the rent payment.

Keep it up and you will see positive results....
