Batch 4 Trade 12 & 13
2021-02-25
Lo spikes up to then turn down but not breaking the box on m1.
Goes up to test Lo again and meet resistance.
After that it break down and test the box low on m5.Breaking it and now i am waiting for my pullback. it didnt made a clean pullback, so i did not take it. but it was a good huntseed.
Now it looks like another pullback is coming and a possible waltz on m5.
Apperently it was a waltz long that i had my PO on…It goes back above 14000´s and i am waiting again.
Breaks it with consecutive red candels and pulls back an creates a cherry at the previous box low. RENT.
In the trade and afterwards it feel like a stupid trade.. Waiting for the first setup 1 after lo.
Feels like another stupid trade… totally lost my trading confident..
( i know it temporary, but i want to be totally honest)
Trade Number: Batch 4 Trade 12
2. Date/Time: 25/2-2021 8:38
3. Symbol/TF: GER30/ M1
4. Signal Type / Direction : Pullback cherry short.
5. Questions Before Trade is Taken:
a) How do I feel before setting the order? neutral
b) Intuitive Signal? Very neutral as well.
c) Is this technically The Setup ? i will say so yes. Perhaps the m5 has moved to far (one of my grey areas) i also had in my mind that when an index drop it could drop more.
6. Post Trade Questions:
a) How Do I feel after closing the trade? Shit…
b) Have I done well and why? I took the signal so i guess that is good, and i did not paniced and got out prematureley
c) Have done badly and Why?
d) What Could I have done differently? filtered it if the m5 was extended.
i think it still is a Ds1… or no... i will call this a chasing profits trade
7. DS For this Trade: 0
8. DS Running Total: 10/12 (83%)
Trade Number: Batch 4 Trade 13
2. Date/Time: 25/2-2021 8:563. Symbol/TF: GER30/ M1
4. Signal Type / Direction : S1 short
5. Questions Before Trade is Taken:
a) How do I feel before setting the order? Trying to be objective.
b) Intuitive Signal? Neutral toward good.
c) Is this technically The Setup ? the M1 S1 has a big box, but with a modified SL it increases the probability to make it the SL-BE and the TP so i put an PO on it.On M5 it was the Second pullback, and a clean one after the LO so the rules was met.
6. Post Trade Questions:
a) How Do I feel after closing the trade? neutral
b) Have I done well and why? yes, i traded the setup and did not intervened.

Batch 4 Trade 14
This was not my week..
Filled with confusion and secondguessing almost all of my descicions.
I have such clear pictures in my head on the conditions i want the market to be in.
But the fact is that it almost never moves in PERFECT waves.
So it is a struggle to learn where the fine line is between good and rubbish conditions.
To be open but not so open that i become sloppy...
The day started with movement inside the premarket area. Bounced of the FO to shoot to the upside.
There wasnt a pullback until late in the wave. I was thinking that it might do a little longer pullback.
In hindsight it was a darn goood pullback…..
To not miss these in the future i could think like this…
- It is the second pullback of the motive wave and it is more likely that the wave isnt over.
Because motive waves have 5 waves…. And the AO will often diverse before the correction.
There is a S1 on M1, not possible to take.
I thought that the m1 hav a very small pullback late in the wave, so the pullback gould be small in the m5 wave as well.
I missed the s1 so i waited for a pullback. The pullback was broken so took the break of the box.
Trade Number: Batch 4 Trade 14
2. Date/Time: 26/2-2021 9:14
3. Symbol/TF: GER30/ M1
4. Signal Type / Direction : S2 long
5. Questions Before Trade is Taken:
a) How do I feel before setting the order? neutral
b) Intuitive Signal? Liitle iffy
c) Is this technically The Setup ?
yes,it was the second boxbreak after a s1, so technically a setup 2.
But my concern was that it has moved already, but i thought that if it is going to do a fifth wave i dont want to miss it.
And the fact that M1 did a small pullback, why could not m5 do the same?
6. Post Trade Questions:
a) How Do I feel after closing the trade? Both good and bad. I struggled during this one. I had to fight myself to not put the SL-BE prematurley. I should have to avoided rent, but i am not a fortune teller….
b) Have I done well and why? The good thing i did was to not let my fear control my managing.
c) Have done badly and Why?
d) What Could I have done differently? maybe i should have leaved the screen after that move…. But i want to be in an objective state and anything can happen. Now it feels like i am just justify a loss…

Trade 13
The discipline Training phase is over. This trade should have been managed slightly differently.
When It goes in your favour, say more than 1.5R in your favour it is a LOSS and a waste of time if you allow it come back and hit your SL at BE...
think about this...
suppose you have a 20 target point. If it goes 17 points in to profit and now only 3 points away from your TP. Now your SL is 17 points away. Think... does it makes sense to allow price 17 points room/space? Does it make sense that you allow it to turn around and hope that maybe it will go another 20 points to hit your original 20 targets? think about it...
If I took this I would trailed candles when it was past 1.5R in my favour. Hell, i'd have started trailing as soon as I saw consecutive cnadles with no breka of a candle high... or when price below wave 3 peak...

The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.

Dear child has many names as we say in sweden
5. Questions Before Trade is Taken:
a) How do I feel before setting the order? A little stressed as i did know that it usually goes very fast at lo and i didnt want set the order in before LO.
b) Intuitive Signal? Good! I felt like if i did not take this one, i cant take anything.
c) Is this technically The Setup ? YES, it had created a S1 during LO so it was really good. I took the entry abowe the premarket area.
6. Post Trade Questions:
a) How Do I feel after closing the trade? Goodb) Have I done well and why? Yes. Because i traded the setup.
c) Have done badly and Why?
d) What Could I have done differently? i could have set the PO at the top before so i did not have to be so stressed about pulling the trigger right at lo. thats why the entry was where it was. can not relly explain exacly why it was there. i want it bo be above with buffer.
But all in all, a very good trade. and it always feels better with a winner.

Thats totally makes sense!
Now I have to add some rules how to get out of the trade.
I feel like i need to have clear guidence otherwise i will just get stressed.
Can i use this one with the different options? it is very objective and clear.

That infographic I posted , was exactly with this intent. That one day you will find it useful. And yes, that is the Stage 2 or 3 trade management.eaxh wrote: 01 Mar 2021, 08:49Hi!immy wrote: 27 Feb 2021, 11:02 The discipline Training phase is over. You can't stay at the stage 1 trade management plan. It's effective but not as effective as this one.
in stage 1 we isolated the complexity and skills ...
so you worked on the basics. and the main objective was to prove that you are disciplined.
Next, we bring in slight complexity in order to INCREASE profitability. you#'re on the right track.

5. Questions Before Trade is Taken:
a) How do I feel before setting the order? Neutral. Was keen to be objective
b) Intuitive Signal? goof
c) Is this technically The Setup ? yes. It broke the high. Did a cherry and then a seed.
Wich i placed the po around.
6. Post Trade Questions:
a) How Do I feel after closing the trade? naah
b) Have I done well and why? Yes. Because i traded the setup.
c) Have done badly and Why? I should have plaved the sl under the cherrycandle. I should have been a loss either way.
d) What Could I have done differently?
Be more careful with were to put the SL. The cherry in this case is the bottom of wave 4 and that is where i will be proven wrong.
But at the same time the seeds are powerfull and allowes a tight SL and a good Risk Reward.
So i am a little confused on how to handle these kinds of situations.

Question
I am in the process of moving my daxtrading to a new tradingplatform.
The reason for that is that I can trade with an account called ISK, which is basically no tax at all compared to cfd here in sweden.
There is one difference... it is the index feed directly from XETRA. So there is only feed from during the market open.
My question is, should i still mark the overnight levels from the cdf-feed och should i dont bother about it because its not there?
Or should i mark what i see on that feed?
I know if anyone is to have an answer it is you Immy
