Jasmien wrote:Hi Immy thank you for the midweek video, not sure if you realise how helpful they are, so much insight, sometimes it's a confirmation to what I saw, very often an A-ha moment, such a great learning tool.

its words like these that keep me going... often people left me stranded .. with no comments or replies ... so I discontinued doing it... the problem is not many people are willing to do put in the "hours" ... e..g reading the important posts, watching videos like these etc... that's why we don't see many successful trader... and the other problem is that they don't take the right approach to trading. What people logically thinks in general works... actually does not...

thanks for your replies...

I've also realised for myself as I love my setup's so much that it is much easier to use a hunt signal to take a good looking setup on 5XLTF's.
The Daily Pinbar's and OB bars are one of the best things other than setup's I've learnt in a while. I hope I will learn to pick the valid's ones, again the fact that this can be used as further confluence is gold. I appreciate your time.
Yes, Jazz, I had once confirmed this to Immy that I m using hunt signals to take a setup 1 on 5XLTF since there was no particular alert to caution us the opportunity in setup. So it was easy to use hunt signals to go down and trade setup 1.

Hi Imran.

Seeing a hunt signal on HTF's is exciting and yes helpful to trade setup 1. Also a monarch pattern by itself on XTF is a setup 1 on LTF's so I like to look out for those ewave pattern as well :-)

Hi Immy, thanks for the video, the quality was great on my end! I learnt what you meant when you say setup 2; for some reason I thought a setup 2 is only when a pink or green dot occurs. However a set up 2 is also a box breakout within a wave 3 and purple line on the correct side.
Is my understanding correct ?

Best regards :)

My trick to identify for setup2 is a box right after the spot of the setup 1, like the price doesnt move much from the setup1 creates another box and then blast from that one, in terms of wave it would be a little monarch type with a new box close by.

YEs Jasmien... you are right about setup 2. Based on Grants rules, that we designed more specifically for M1 trading A Setup 2 was pink and green dot.
Basically if the dot candle broke the box, instead of going market order we instead waited for a fresh box. this was important to minimise risk of impulsive trading. But on h1 and higher time frame, we can do without this rule. If a dot candle breaks out and its a setup, all other rules apply, we would tkae market order and put stop loss on the high of hte candle for shorts and perhaps on the low of the candle for longs.

So basically you can turn the pink dots to red and green to blue for simplicity. There is only one type of setup now. A setup 2 now really is a setup 1 but entry is taken on the 2nd fractal and open gator. actually a lot of setup 1's are setup 2 becasue gator is usually open at the time of entry. hope it makes sense. This was to simplify stuff. so from this point onwards you don't have to worry about setup 1 or 2. you just trade setup 1.
