Today I was watching most of the day apart from school run time and when I had to pop out mid morning but I didn't manage to place a single trade! Tomorrow is another day.

I understand what you mean Immy and am looking forward to taking some good trades on the Dax.

Re: Darren's Journal
One of my worst days for a while today trading Dax. All of my trades were losers and in hindsight I should have given up after the first 3 losers but I felt sure there was going to be a move at some point!. As it happened they weren't massive positions so I didn't do too much damage, apart from to my pride! To add insult to injury it was a great currency trading day but I only took one trade on EU as I was concentrating on Dax.
Roll on next week! :-s

Morning darren,
as Sam said rinse and repeat mate... A couple of constructive observations of your DAX trades if i may....
Trade 1: you answered yourself
Trade 2: On entry what was the size of the AIMS box... i don't have my charts open but it looks kinda big to me as that lower aims created by the candle 1 before your entry wouldn't have been there.
Trade 3: with m1 alli wide open and the H1 having already been retested twice i would have used the m1 aims level, that way my SL would have been a lot tighter...
Trade 4&5: AO had already diverged before entry... not at all a bad entry just not higher probability
Trade 6: Good trade just never worked...
as for the Eu trade :-bd :-bd
have a great weekend

Re: Darren's Journal
Thanks for the constructive criticism Grant. You are right about trade 2, I should have waited for the Aims box to be confirmed before entry and the rest of your comments are spot on. I will try again on Monday hopefully with a little more patience and the good trades will come!
Cheers.
Cheers.

I agree with Sam. After two big spikes it was pretty risky.
But i m sure, you knew what you did. Just next!

Re: Darren's Journal
Thanks for the comments guys. I wasn't very happy about the EU trade so I shouldn't have taken it. The trend was strongly down but I tried to catch the retracement as there was some vaguely positive news out for the EURO, it just didn't work out. I should have stuck with the trend!
