I love number 4 and 5 trades. specially the 5. Number 5 is such a clever trade. early entry ... of course number 4 is the one we ought to take over and over and over again.

Thank you :peace

Weekbatch 7 2021-06-24 THE END

Unread post by eaxh »

Today i saw D1 as in a sideways pause in the upmove
H1 Was sideways
M5 was in a bullish breakout phase from FO

Today was a little bit tricky i would say.
Or am i feeling like it because it was a rent day.

The first trade today (Trade 7) was a valid pullback and i managed it as my plan says i will.
Then the arrow- At the time i still saw the market inside the levels to the left. It was similar to the signal i missed yesterday.
As immy pointed it out it was not going up, and not sideways. And it went through the openline and also retested it. And as i did not searching for a trade as i still saw it as inside a range i did not see it as an opportunity.
Trades like these are tricky.

Trade 8 was a s1 on m1 and a deep 3candle pullback on m5.

The last one was okey, but it did not really close on 10 ema... did not make a huge different on the outcome. THIS TIME...

WEEK REVIEW

Profits 2,92% ( on 9 trades is a perfectly fine number. What to expect)
Winrate 55%
Ds score 100%

This week has been something else.
I have been more confident in my trading and i have also had a calm feeling and have not feeling stressed.
I have only traded LO session due to lack of time. In general i would like to sit down 1 hour or so for NEO.
I am now very happy and satisfied with my way to trade.
Have to see how i can trade those missed setups as today and yesterday. When to take a trade when there are levels to the left and when not.
Maybe its okey for lobot but not any time of the day?....

I had 9 trades this week and i hit my weekly target :) (Target is 2,5%)
And a week like this is all i need and its a very lightening feeling.

Very happy with this week  :thumbs

And i think that is the key for me to stay away from shitty markets. Because that is one of my problems.

Today the market was overall in a range.
M5 was in a bear breakout from LO.

Status- To tired to function. Holiday with kids aint no holiday  8-|
But i have such a clear plan so i can trade anyway. The only problem is that i might miss a setup and that is better than taking a bad one. So i allowed myself to trade today.

It was a loosing day -0,53%. A very disciplined day so i have to learn how to handle the losses like a queen.
I feel dissapointed for not earning money today. I did as my plan is saying so i shouldnt feel like that.
I have to see my profits on a monthly period, not each trade and not each session.

I only had time to trade LO today. ( i saw that the open on Us30 was PUUURFECT)

The first candle on m1 was a bearish trend candle, i waited for the first pullback. it ended with a banana that tested LO and i placed a PO under it.
It was rent RIGHT AWAY. Tried not to get affected by the loss, still saw it as valid.
Then the price went up and made a good move up but did not give me an entrysignal.
After the move up i waited for m5 to maybe give me an entry but instead it made a bearish pullback on m1. Took it and trailed 10 ema. Was a small winner.

The last trade was a almost clean pullback. I had the PO under LO open line. Got out on 10 ema trail with a small looser.

After that my time was up.

Today i hit my daily stop loss. Feels like S**T.
I overtraded and i let my emotions trade today.

Days like this i dont want to post.
I am in a loosingstreak. Half my fault, and half as a valid loosingstreak.
I am still up this month so that is positive.

In the long run i will benefit alot from days like this. (LEARNINGDAY)

Todays levels was the same as yesterday. it was large enough to trade inside it (the range).

The price went up and broke th erecent levels to he left within the first few minuits. had no entry but that felt okey at the time,
As soon as i saw the bananasignal i placed a PO. But thats not my entry. i want to get in at the beginning or the middle of the move. NOT the end....
Spoke to Immy and came up with a rule. Probably should have had that rule already!
Not trade after a climatic move. it makes sense and it always had. I just errored.

Then i saw a good S1 so i placed a PO over the tight box. I have finally understood that a S1 ALWAYS NEED TO BE TIGHT BOXES.
As my plan says i move sl to BE at 1 R and start to trail 10 ema on M5. So that became a BE trade.

The 3rd trade this morning was wrong. It was still inside the 4th wave....
Tusdag trades 4 5 6 DAX LO.png

Today i also had time for NEO :) Should have stayed away...
I traded the DOW. the first one i see nothing wrong with. A valid one that became rent.

The other ones are very good ones aesthetically, but in the wrong place overall. The managing was scarebased...
So wrong wrong wrong.

What i take with me from today from the teaching in the chatroom and from my trading.
  • CONTEXT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE SIGNAL!!!!! (DOOOOOH!! LIKE I DID NOT KNOW THAT)  l-)
  • maybe i shouldnt take signals on m5 (S1 on m1)
Takes to long to finish. Dont have that time. Coukl be better to laserfocus on M1 pullbacks ONLY.
  • i should see levels as a POTENTIAL S/R
As i understood it, when trending on H1= JUST GO!
When H1 is in a range =Treat the levels as they are made of concrete.
  • never take a pullback after a climatic move.
Here i can use KC as a guide and. When multiple free bars=dont look for an entry. WAIT
  • Add a  "QuestionToAskMyself" Which phase is the market at the moment.
I can draw them to make it clearer.
