Most days are profitable which is nice but I do have the odd down day. However, it is never a heavy loss because of the great risk management Immy has instilled in us! I don't have many 50 -100 runners either, although they do happen every week, I just seem to be always doing something else when they occur, but it just shows that a few losses then a few 20 - 30 pip wins can still bring in the money!

Re: Darren's Journal
Happy new year to everyone!
I haven't traded since before Christmas so easing myself into it! One trade so far this year on AU.
I hope that everyone has a successful and profitable 2014.

News came out and my UJ was stopped out for break even on the remaining 1/4 position. GU is running nicely.

Re: Darren's Journal
Very true Sam. However, I like to move my stops trailing Aims as soon as a new Aims box is formed as it reduces the size of my losses and means that I am happy to enter a position again, even if it is just a few candles later. I will miss out on some nice winners like today on UJ, but trailing every Aims box seems to sit well with me, and works!fxsam wrote:Nice trades Darren. i have just noticed on UJ m5 trade, if you would have keep SL at other side of aims and not to trail aims level then it would have been winner after few candles as your next trade on uj m5 was clear winner.
Regards,
Sam
