Following some sage advice in a discussion with Immy about trade management.... "Do you want to simply follow a strict formula or do you want to be more human like and make decisions within a set or "parameters".".... I've refrained from posting in my journal lately as I've explored some different methods and read a lot of discussion about this topic of trade management on this forum. I feel 'incomplete' as a trader, having a great understanding (IMHO :p ) of what constitutes good entries, but continuing with inconsistently applied management techniques. And therefore seeing inconsistent results.

Anyway, my focus on the correct HTF pullbacks, those that give rise to a fractal, gives me the confidence to trade within the M5 context while taking entries from M1 (that sounds familiar), and to give trades a real shot at growth from M5. Here's today's EJ trade managed with this HTF context in mind.

The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".

I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.

Happiness, Hope, Contentment and Success All come from within! Its a state of mind... if you think there is no hope, then there is no hope for you. But if you think and assume otherwise that will be your Reality! IMHO (hug)

Closes don't look great now, but GBP Construction PMI was pending so wasn't going to hold through that. Standard M5/M1 entries :)
