Screen time:
LO-session 09:00 - 11 (GMT+2) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE
NYO-session 14:00 - 15:30 (GMT+2) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE

LO session was great today. Had one home run (Trade 1) and one BE (Trade 2).

Trade 1 was simply a beatiful Monarch Seed after breakout of range. Have learned there that Seed doesn't get invalidated if broken but only if a following bar closes above (below for long fruits). Thanks to mates in skype-room who kept me from deleting PO in the last second. Exited by trailing candles with +3.5% as 1:2 and 1:3 levels were easiely broken.

Trade 2 was a good Cherry setup according to our rules but entry had slippage of 1.6 which is massive compared to candle size of 4.9p. Was the reason why it didn't touch 1:2 by only 1p. As I moved SL to BE as price broke 1:1 level it was closed at BE with +/-0.

NYO session unfortunately ate up my morning profits with 3 full rents.

Trade 3 was a good Seed trade although it got violated by next candle by 0.1 or 0.2 Pips so I decided to keep PO. Unfortunately it didn't hit 1:1 due to big slippage and ran into init SL where it got exited with -1%.

Trade 4 was a S1. As AO hadn't crossed ZL at that time it was more a possible w5 of 3 rather than a w5 but potential TZ1 was beyond 1:2 level. Although signal was good and possible profit reasonable, it simply didn't work out as it reversed right at trigger candle and hit init SL with -1%.

Trade 5 was a Cherry signal into possible w5 of 3 which coincided with a nice classic breakout setup. It didn't work out either and closed at init SL with -1% again.

This afternoon session brought some rents but trading was still alright, IMO, because I only took entries after good-quality signals. Sometimes the random distribution of winning and losing trades brings us some rent in a row like we can dice the six some times in a row.

Overall I changed some major aspects today:
- updated from Seed to Seed Grant's rules indie to display only Grant's rules Seeds
- changed AIMS The Fruit indie to AIMS Adam's Apple v1.0
- resetted buffer setting of FTM from 2p for shorts to 1p again
- place only one 1% order instead of 2x0.50% orders
- no clipping at 1:1 anymore
- move SL to BE if price hits 1:1
- looking for exits if price breakes 1:2
- learned that a Seed remains valid as following candles don't close above (short Seed)/below (long Seed)

LO session:
Trade 1: DS = 1, SL = 8.8 (1.3p slip.), Result = + 30.9p = + 3.5%
Trade 2: DS = 1, SL = 9.5 (1.6p slip.), Result = +/-0p = +/-0%

NYO session:
Trade 3: DS = 1, SL = 8.3 (1.9p slip.), Result = - 8.3p = -1%
Trade 4: DS = 1, SL = 11.6, Result = - 11.6p = -1%
Trade 5: DS = 1, SL = 13.0, Result = - 13.0p = -1%
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today's Result: -2 Pips , + 0.5% , DS = 5 / 5 , 3.50 hrs

LO-session 09:00 - 11 (GMT+2) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE

Was happy that I had, after some very busy days, an undisturbed session.

It went up nicely after about 15 minutes after LO and some chops. According to our rules, I waited for price to retrace and entered at that nice Monarch Seed (Trade 1) which simply didn't work out and was exited at init SL with -1%. Next two Cherry entries (Trade 2 + 3) were entries according to rules but didn't work out as well and both were exited at their init SLs with -1% each.
All three entries didn't even hit 1:1.

After the down-move was established as purple got broke to down side, I waited again for a valid Seed/Cherry signal which took place at first retrace below purple. I took that very nice down-Cherry which which was at least a reasonable winner with +1.4% after it hit 1:2 level. Maybe a little bit protective but up-fruit bar (without fruit signal as I'm using Adam's Apple indie instead of Fruit) was reasonable counter signal and ok to trail from that candle on.

Trade 1: DS = 1, SL = 8.9, Result = - 9.6p = -1.1%
Trade 2: DS = 1, SL = 12.7, Result = - 12.7p = -1%
Trade 3: DS = 1, SL = 11.5, Result = - 11.5p = -1%
Trade 4: DS = 1, SL = 9.2, Result = 13.0p = + 1.4%
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Today's Result: - 20.8 Pips = -1.7%, DS = 4 / 4 , 2.00 hrs

Result of week 31 - 27.07-31.07.2015 - M1 live:
Mon. 27.07 + 73.8p = +6.1%, DS = 4/4, 2.50 hrs, M1
Tue. 28.07. + 7.5p = +0.3%, DS 2/2, 1.50 hrs, M1
Wed. 29.07. + 7.9p = +0.3%, DS = 2/2, 1.50 hrs, M1
Thu. 30.07. - 2.0p = +0.5%, DS = 5/5, 3.50 hrs, M1/M5
Fri . 30.07. - 20.8p = -1.7%, DS = 4/4, 2.00 hrs, M1/m5
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Result ...... +66.4p = +4.5% (without compounding), DS 17/17 (100%), 11.00 hrs

First week of pure Apple/Seed/Cherry trading and have enjoyed every single, stress-free minute of trading as rules are super-simple and very effortless to follow, even on days which were nearly BE or rent. I know (trust in Grant, Steve and Immy) that strategy has a proven edge so only need to stick to these simple rules what will pay off in the long run. Looking foreward to get back on Monday to apply this technique with the fellow AIMSters in Skype-room.

RESULT OF JULY 2015
Week 27: + 84,9 Pips = 4.0%, DS = 13/13, 4.25 hrs (Fruit)
Week 28: + 180.3 Pips = 8.4%, DS = 17/17, 5.00 hrs (Fruit)
Week 29: + 110.3 Pips = 5.1%, DS = 19/19, 9.00 hrs (Fruit)
Week 30: + 251.1 Pips = 11.3%, DS = 23/23, 7.25 hrs (Fruit & Apple/Seed/Cherry)
Week 31: + 66.4 Pips = 4.5%, DS = 17/17, 11.00 hrs (Apple/Seed/Cherry)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Result: + 693.0 Pips = + 37.8%, DS = 89/89 (100%), 36.50 hrs

The result of 37.8% is based on weekly compounding with 0.7% risk per 15 Pips per entry with fruits and 1% risk per entry with Apple/Seed/Cherry.

During week 31 I realized that R:R ratio drops dramaticly if I split entries and clip 50% at 1:1, so I decided from Thursday, July 30th on to stop splitting.

For Heaven's Sake! 37.8% woohooo I don't know which emoticon to use here... but certainly this one would do .... (wd) ^:)^

I've been working with Steve on further simplifying it and although we don't agree on everything yet he has come up with an idea that will forever cure the problem of trading within the chop for the M1 traders. its truly amazing. And its very simple, logical and makes sense. Until then... have fun! keep going Michael... if you continue like so I think you'll be able to hire a good manager to run your "family business for you". :) Still working to hrs on trading and enjoying the rest of the hours walking your dog! having picnics and taking Salsa lessons. or whatever ... \m/

A session with much movement but no signals to catch it. Mostly signals which didn't work out well or at all. Two 1:1 trades reduced overall rent to slightly below -1%.

Tomorrow is another day with more opportunities ;-)

Quick session today. Had no time in the morning so tried to make it to the chart in the afternoon.
There happened almos nothing. I didn't trade in choppy preriod. As price broke out, I took 2 reasonable setups (one monarch Seed and one AA) which ended up in an overall result of -1% for the day with DS = 2/2.

What a pleasent up-moving market with good setups into trades with excellent results.

Trade 1 was a picture book Monarch Seed followed by Trade 2 of a tiny Cherry which I took parallel to T1. Have closed both a bit early (T1 at 1:1 and T2 at 2:1) because last sessions weren't that good, so I needed a bit of profit, and +3% with that campaign was a good result indeed.

Trade 3 was a good Adam's Apple which needed some time and a strong hand to ride the wave up. I handled it like a fruit, so I was able to squeeze it out to the max. with a result 0f +3% as I exited at 3:1 level manually, where it hovered around for about 10 minutes. Was a very good spot to exit because a few bars later it dropped.

Trade 1: DS=1, SL = 12.4, Result = + 12.4p = +1.0%
Trade 2: DS=1, SL = 6.5, Result = + 13.8p = + 2.1%
Trade 3: DS=1, SL = 7.5, Result = + 22.5p = + 3.0%
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today's result: + 48.7 Pips = +6.1%, DS = 3 / 3 , 2.00 hrs
Today's results

Not much time today due to finishing office work before holiday trip.

Came a bit late to NEO what caused the missing of that good breakout entry. Anyway, I waited for retrace and took first Cherry (after two Seeds) into Trade 1. Afterwards price was stuck in sideway movement and Trade 1 got exited at init SL with -1%. Trade 2 was next Cherry which didn't wor out either and was exited at init SL with -1% as well.

Third attempt (Trade 3) to catch that w5 of 3 worked out better and payed +0.8%. Exit was a little bit late but I decided not to close it early because AO hadn't diverged at that point of time and I exited at close above green gator.

Trade 4 was a very good Adam's Apple signal as there was a perfect zigzag, w4 retraced nicely at the 50% fib ret level, fruit bar had good angulation and signal bar was very small. It worked out perfectly and exited with nearly +3% by trailing 5 red candles.

Trade 1: DS=1, SL = 8.7, Result = - 8.7p = -1.0%
Trade 2: DS=1, SL = 6.6, Result = - 6.6p = -1.0%
Trade 3: DS=1, SL = 11.5 (2.5p slip.), Result = + 8.5p = 0.8%
Trade 4: DS=1, SL = 9.5, Result = + 26.5p = + 2.8%
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today's result: + 20.5p = + 1.6% , DS = 4 / 4 , 1.00 hrs
