Actually I'm using "AIMS Adam's Apple V1.0" indy, availeable here: http://www.itradeaims.net/forum/viewtop ... 33&p=17783. It only paints Fruits away from purple but doesn't filter ones which are inside AIMS boxes. It has NO settings except for symbol.

Cheers

Tue. Sept. 15, 2015

Screen time:
LO-session 9:00 - 10:15 (GMT+2) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE

Today it took about 45 Minutes after LO that DAX broke out of a sideway range. In the range I took one entry (Trade 1) and in the following down move I caught a nice Cherry (Trade 2).

Trade 1:
It was a possible start of w5 of w3 after as Cherry formed a good PC, so several ungrounded assessments along with our grounded assessment, which is Cherry signal. TP at micro TZ1 but got exited by trailing candles after a strong counter Fruit which had touched 1 : 2. Result was nevertheless +1.1%.

Trade 2:
Have filtered out signals during sideway market where it didn't show movement or direction. Even Cherry which initiated the outbreak wasn't clear to me - filtered. The rest was quite obvious: breakout, pullback (price+eWave), Cherry => PO => entry.
TP was at TZ1 again which was near 1 : 3 level and got hit with +2.9%

Today's result: +43.7p = +3.9% , DS = 2 / 2 , 1.25hrs

Insight of today: It pays off if I trade only when movement and structure of market are clear to me. Trade 1 was at PC at possible end of correction of previous up move so structure was clear. Next 25 minutes were up and down in a tight range, so structure and direction was gone, therefore I filtered all signals. I wasn't watching out for signals until it broke out and showed clear and obvious movement and structure.
This is my approach for judging conditions as tradeable or not and being very selective, even if I miss some very early entries. Result is that I took only 38 trades in September so far. 17 (45%) winners, 10 (26%) BE and only 11 (29%) rents, so winners and BEs together were 27 trades which is 71%.

DAX moved nicely again and offered some valid signals which, except of one, didn't work out very well today. Anyway signals were there, volatility reasonably high and structure present, so no hasitation taking them.

Trade 1:
Lovely Cherry with good pullback into possible w5 of new w3. After it hit 1:1, up thrust was finished and SL was hit at BE, so exit with +/-0.0%.

Trade 2:
Another Cherry which was actually more an Adam's Apple as next attempt to catch w5 of w3. Trade was running a bit longer but outcome was equal to first trade. After 1:1 (SL to BE) was hit, it reversed and trade was exited at BE with -0.1% due to some slippage.

Trade 3:
Monarch Seed with good distance to local TZ1 of 1 : 2. After a small pullback there appeared a Cherry and it went down to TP in 4 minutes where it got exited with +2.0%.

Trade 4:
Another Monarch Seed after a new w3 which didn't work out that time. Init SL was hit with -1.0%. It was a setup according to rules but it wasn't the best setup due to following: pullback was small, retraced at H1 AIMS level and M5 purple twice. Anyway, I took it with confidence and am accepting outcome. Next

Today's result: +4.8p = +0.9% , DS = 4 / 4 , 2.00 hrs

Happy about my trading and result as it weren't the easiest conditions at today's LO session.

NYO-session 14:15 - 15:15 (GMT+2) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE

Was a low-volatility day today with choppy market in bigger swings right after LO and smaller swings after about one hour. so a bit difficult to make good profit.

Neither did I take one entry nor did I place a PO in the afternoon as market was "dead". Good lesson for patience and discipline ;-)

Trade 1:
was a Cherry signal according to the rules although AO was rather old and price had not retraced very much. Anyway I took it with confidence but it turned out that entry was near swing-point, so init SL got hit with -1.0%. Next.

After Trade 1 there appeared a 2nd Cherry, this time at a better level (between green and red gator), so I placed PO but it wasn't tirggered before becoming invalidated, so canceled it.

Trade 2:
Cherry similar to Trade 1 but this time I didn't take first Cherry with hardly any retracement but second one was good which nearly touched red gator. Micro TZ1 was in good distance of more than 1 : 2 away. At 1 : 2 I placed TP. Unfortunately, after 1 : 1 was hit and SL was brought to BE, it spiked up and kicked me out by 0.5p, before it headed down to TZ1 and broke it. That's trading ;-)
+/-0.0% for that trade. Next :-)

Trade 3:
I was so sure that it will go further down, so I took next Monarch Seed as well. At that time I should have noticed that there was a strong resistance around the swing-point, another point was that 1 : 2 was beyond TZ1 now, so trade should not have been taken. Altough it ended at BE with +/-0.0%, that was a clear DS = 0 for that trade.

Today's result: -10.5p = -1.0% , DS = 2 / 3 , 3.00 hrs

Hi Michael!

These were the days last year when you started fruit and doubled your account in 13 weeks! (Solo mission to space but you did not come back alone)

I'm highly interested to see if The Seed strategy results match the fruit strategy. I know pip wise there will be massive difference but we are not interested in pips are we? we are interested in account growth.. so what's happening there buddy? would you mind sharing some data with us?

Thanks for your efforts and sharing! appreciated

Oh man, true, it's really already one year that I've re-joined AIMS and started, for me brand new, AIMS The Fruit strategy. It's been a year of massive learning and big success although not free of obstacles. As I mentioned in an earlier post and post #1 of my journal, I started struggeling mentally with Fruit at end of May, when LO- and NEO-breakouts didn't work out that clearly anymore. I was not used to taking movement and/or structure of market into consideration - I was simply looking out for valid Fruit-signals and traded them rather mechanically, what worked out very well until that point.

June and July were still very profitable with Fruit for me but I felt more and more stressed and tensed and it was not that big fun anymore, not that effortless and comfortable. But this is exactly what I need for a proper mental state for trading: fun, easyness and comfortability - probably my way of being "In The Zone".

Thanks to Grant rules Seeds and Cherrie I've found a way back to that easyness and effortlessness again. I still trade Fruits but only in direction of 5x higher timeframe and only at possible end of w4 and occasionally at end of w1, known as Adam's Apples.
Success of Seeds/Cherries, for me, highly depend on volatility (movement) and structure of market. If both is present and clearly and obviously visible, then I take signals, if not than not.

Of course I will share my stats of Seed/Cherry/AA/S1&S2 trading since July. Will publish them in the next days. ;-)

Fri. Sept. 18, 2015

Screen time:
LO-session 8:45 - 9:30 (GMT+2) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE

It was only a very short session because I had to bring Claudia's car to yearly inspection, so my session started already 15 minutes prior to London Open. Therefore I can call me a bit lucky because that lovely S1 I took (Trade 1) was triggered 3 minutes to 9am (= 8am UK-time). It was initiated by a Cherry a few minutes before and a Dot Candly (DC) so I placed PO with confidence and without hasitation. And as it wasn't a saddle-point (gator and AIMS-box was clearly below purple), long wasn't an option at that time. It pushed down nicely without pullback and I exited that trade by simply trailing candles after 1 : 2 level was exceeded with very good +5.1%. Trailing candles (after 1 : 2) was for two reasons: 1. more than 5 consecutive red candles, and 2. price went away from gator too far too fast, so rubber band principle came to use.

I didn't take next good down Cherry signal because I was already in profit massively and end of my session was near anyway. I was very happy to see that most Skype fellows were able to make good profit of that pretty Cherry after they had to witness that beautiful S1 breakout at LO without being on board of it. Well done guys !!!

Today's result: +59.5p = +5.1% , DS = 1 / 1 , 0.75 hrs

Result of week 38, 14.09.-18.09.2015 - M1/M5 live:
Mon. 14.09. +39.1p = +1.8%, DS 2/2, 2.00 hrs, M1/M5
Tue. 15.09. +43.7p = +3.9%, DS 2/2, 1.25 hrs, M1/M5
Wed. 16.09. +4.8p = +0.9%, DS = 4/4, 2.00 hrs, M1/M5
Thu. 17.09. -10.5p = -1.0%, DS = 2/3, 3.00 hrs, M1/M5
Fri . 18.09. +59.5p = +5.1, DS = 1/1, 0,75 hrs, M1/M5
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Result ...... +136,6p = +11.1% (with compounding), DS 11 / 12 (92%), 12.50 hrs

This week Thursday it was a little bit difficult to me to stay disciplined. I saw volatility and movement and wanted to interpret some structure into market which simply wasn't there, so I took one trade which was according to flow chart but not according to structure. This is what Grant and Immy always point out, that we should not take trades like robots. Although system is VERY straight foreward, we still need to answer 2 questions by doing some basic analysis: 1. is there enough movement/volatility, and 2. is there structure (Elliott waves for price and/or eWave-oscillator)?
