Re: The Fruit - A Powerful Trading Strategy
A nice campaign on GBP/JPY
The trend on the daily was down and was ready for a pullback. So we went short and immediately reveresed at this fruit and added on at the aims breakout.
EUR/GBP
another pound based trade. EUR/USD
News Inspired Classic Breakout Trade took half off at the bottom the rest stopped out for 0 due to huge pullback but got back in, using Seed entry. GBP/USD
Don't you love this trade? Oh yes, this is a pullback of GBP/USD. So when cable had enough drop on the daily chart it was time for it pullback to its gator. We utilised this h1 entry to take a big chunk 4R's (2%) of profit relative to the initial risk of only 0.5%.

Re: The Fruit - A Powerful Trading Strategy
AIMS The Fruit is alive and kicking well, pretty nicely on The Daily and Hourly time frames on currencies. But...
I thought I'll take a little fruit campaign firstly to enjoy my favourite template on the Dax m1 this afternoon but secondly to show that its not that we stopped trading the fruit on m1 dax because Fruit does not work. But because we have developed a simpler easier to follow and more importantly easier to teach system yet powerfully profitable , yes the Hunt. AIMS The Hunt. (Inspired from BBC programme The Hunt, worth watching)
Through years of sharing what I do, I have become a coach (sort of) and I learn that we all have differnt personalities and although trading is simply the act of buying and selling, we soon discover that we are either trend followers or contrarians or may be both for some lucky ones.
I love to trade in one direction only for a period of time and then I want to go completely against it because that's what the market does. Its goes up down and up again. there is no ultimate destination. Trading the Fruit strategy allows you to express yourself in both ways. You can either chose to take Fruits at the top of 3 and 5 and play counter trend moves or you can simply trade breakouts using Setup 1 and may be add Apple into it to trade into wave 5. For trend followers its simple, just look for 3 and then wait for 4 and then trade either using Apple and S1 breakout or just hte s1 breakout into wave 5. Here I was trying to catch a new 3. m5 and m1 charts with narrations attached.

Re: The Fruit - A Powerful Trading Strategy
Hi Immy
I can see that the Fruit strategy is amazing on the daily charts. I have been reluctant to use the dailies because of the unknown. Basically I mean those catastrophic events that can wipe a trader out in the blink of an eye. An example would be the swiss franc event from 2015 (or was it 2014). Firms as well as individuals lost everything before you could say Yo Mamma. Again, I know it is a rare event, but it has happened and it will happen again. Am I just being a paranoid bastard who watches way too much X-files reruns, or do I have a legitimate concern. Thanks
Peter

Ah, the fear of dying in sleep wont let you sleep will it?
Actually that is a very valid argument but let me tell how we survived and were not in swissy position while fully loaded on the other stuff. And let me tell you something else before that. We went long right at the bottom of the spike and rode it all the way up when it came near the same price from where it dropped off.
Yes you could have lost a lot of money while long on Swissy, but you won't have wiped your entire account or gone over that if you used correct risk management protocols. The biggest point is that during those days, we were well aware of the fact that Swissy was risky and that something huge was going on under ground. We also knew, 3 years before the event that swiss bank intervenes and due to that it was a risky currency to trade hence we never traded it with pleasure. So there are always indicators for the watchful trader to take actions to protect you. Leverage is good but very bad exactly because of such events.
I remember it very well, we had a pre-warning on the daily chart the 4th of Jan when there was this huge pin-bar Fruit signalling the longs might be ending. Had I taken the 4th of Jan Fruit short signal. I'd have ridden the whole 5000 pips spike down... that is the Power of Fruit. It is part of the Chaos Structure of the markets/universe. But its best to stay safe...

How to Trade Fruit on Dax M1
I feel some extra energy these days and my trading attention has, for some reason gone to the next level. Partly because I am used to trading a very busy chart and that I am hyper person and partly because AIMS The Hunt isa High Win Rate strategy and we get highly filter , high quality signals hence the number of signals is relatively lower than Setup 1 and significantly lower than Fruit. Fruit is a very busy strategy it does not let any wave alone. It will trade all the moves. So, I played a bit this am, from my bed, due to over fatigue in the gym last night. Mistakenly over dosed myself with triple shots of caffeine and just could not sleep at all.
Here goes, Stress Free Trading pictures. No Trades on the Hunt but a good campaign on Fruit. [This does not mean I have lost the challenge.]
I have a play account for testing all my strategies etc on a VPS. So I can see whats going on from where ever I am in the world. This was taken on that. So it does not really increase my wealth or changes anything. But Playing Fruit is a lot of fun. I'm sure of all, Tomi and MZ will enjoy this post.

Oh man
What a beautiful trade Immy. Damn, I would love to learn how to trade the Fruit but I can't wrap my head around trading against the trend. I'm looking at AA's right now. Thanks for the charts above. Very inspirational.

Traders are either trend traders or both. There are no reversal traders only. You know why? because reversals can't and wont happen before there is trend and if you can't read a trend you can't trade a reversal. Reversals are usually a low win rate systems, relies on add ons. So there are many factors one needs to know about a system and then compare those to our personality. But naturally people go for "comfort" and that means trading with the least amount of pain, ie. higher win rate strategies. But money is made by those who have the highest amount of pain threshold and the ability to do "psychologically the hardest things" ...
Knowing yourself is first and foremost information a successful trader needs unless you find a trader who is Born to be a trader just finds trading up and down with the market as a natural tendency without a struggle. In fact being able to Not Struggle against the market is the main characteristics of successful traders. We want to impose our own thoughts and wants on a stream of data that does not have emotions and feelings towards our internal mental states. And there lies the problem.
You gotta let go. I gotta let go. Go with the flow and Want what the market wants which simply means, create a system, create a plan around it, commit to be at least 90% disciplined and then to be able to do WWTMW, follow the Signals of your system. That is all.
so, I was heavily short on the Yens and thought it wsa not going further down so chose to exit on Green Line Close... oh welll... misssed 600plus pips.
here ya go

Nice Immy! I went long on Frankfurt open and short after London opened. Your shorts came a bit later. Simple, fun and pure enjoyment!

Very good trading, Immy. I feel the energy of trading Fruits on D1. Every time I think for those trades, I'm very happy. I have a great campaigne on UCad D1. I'm very proud for this. Here you are:
